Hello /christian/ i want to read the entire bible. Is it best to read it from genesis all the way through to revelations or is there some other order you must read it in?

Mathew -> Acts -> Read whatever books interest you but keep context in mind.

Keep doing this until you've read the entire Bible. Some people may need a more regimented, orderly approach, but this is what works for me.

The Old Testament is just as important as the New.

The first time I read The Bible all the way through, I read it Genesis through Revelation. The second time I read The Bible all the way through, I read it following this order. A common order advocated here is to read the New Testament first from Matthew to Jude, then read the Old Testament, then read Revelation. If it's your first time reading, I'd recommend you not try reading it in a month, but still reading the way the one month reading schedule is set up: every day reading some chapters of the Books of Moses, some chapters of the history books, some chapters of the wisdom books, some chapters of the prophetic books, and some chapters of the New Testament.

Make it your goal to understand the book of Hebrew and Revelation in light of the whole bible.

Start like >>547179 said, then read the Torah Genesis to Deuteronomy, and read any book from there but always keep Nehemiah 9 mind when you feel conflicted with God's judgement.

Don't rush through it, anon. It's supposed to be a slow process, where you can reflect and pray after reading the Scripture. :) Read about the plans that others are offering, but personally I would start with the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John).

God bless!
