How do I stop fighting/arguing with my parents?

I am only 18, i've considered moving out, but it is hard to earn a living in here if you're still in high school.

I want to stop hurting their feelings and in the process make their lives easier.

It might help to tell us what exactly you're fighting over.

If it's over you being disrespectful/lazy/a jew, take their advice and let them help you.

If they're atheists making fun of you every day, better start flipping those burgers soon.

Got any details? What do you fight over?

In general it takes two to tango, it's hard to have a fight if one party is quiet, self-controlled and humble.

We mostly fight over some minor stuff. They keep insisting their view upon me, naturally

I use logic to try and solve the problem. But, they just seem to get even more angrier.

Oh, I've gone through the exact same thing with my single mother. Over time she learned to trust my judgement and ability, anf that happened barely one year before I moved out.

You could speed things up by accepting their demands, so that they won't be angry at you all the time, and will be more likely to think your words over.

I feel guilty whenever I retort back, even though I knew that what was I saying is right…
