Actually I heard a sermon that a pastor traveled to Africa to go soul-winning and he learned that those countries knew about Jesus but didn't follow him. The moral of the story was that the pastor's job of soul-winning wasn't done yet.

They had natural law written in their hearts and works of God to proclaim it to them and yet they went against it. So there is no excuse for them.

There might have been some ignorant souls that lived according to God as much as thier reason told them. Maybe they got saved. Maybe.
