I agree. I hope Anderson's intentions are good, but he keeps mixing his subjective feelings and opinions into his preaching.

I am a Protestant… but this kind of teaching is what was warned about when it was feared that every man would become his own Pope after schism. Theology should not be just whatever you want it to be and your definition of sin should be more Biblically based than personal pet peeves.

There are many Catholics, but as far as the entirety of the human population are concerned, few people walk the path you speak of.

A great many Catholics are cultural, and of the ones that aren't, only a few are graced with true sainthood. The only people who go straight to Heaven when they die are saints. So yes, the path is very narrow.

All Catholic Christians (and I believe many Protestants as well) will make it to Heaven some time after death after being purified in Purgatory.
