Talking about "time" in purgatory is pointless really. "Time" on the other side is not "time" as we know it. Sure, Church employed metaphors of "days" or "years" in purgatory but they were only metaphors to get some board feeling about it. But it always have been it - metaphor.

Pride is the source of all sins. A distortion of self-perception enflames the passions beyond reason, which causes inordinate desires.
