I liked having physical copies when games on discs weren't just a steam code and the right to download a 60 GB day 1 "patch". And when they weren't complete shit.

I do prefer physical books though, I just don't read any more. All the books in my room are from when I was a kid, like Harry Potter, Goosebumps, Horrible Histories/Science, etc.

Well I finished Uni and got a (terrible) degree, since then I've been sitting in my house doing bugger all and working in a supermarket freezer. Its not what I want to be doing this time next year, but I dont hate it. People leave me alone mostly, and its super comfy. I quite like the cold, and no one complains if I leave early/turn up late.

I'm definitely feeling better mentally though, the last year of Uni had my final year project hanging over my head which completely destroyed me, if anything I'm just glad to be out of there, even if I'm back living with my parents now.

Within the next year, I plan to learn to drive and get a job working in IT, even if its just phone based tech support. I'd also like to move out on my own in the next year, or even in a houseshare if it needs to be that, just away from my parents. That depends on the other two things happening though, because I refuse to go full time at the supermarket, and I couldnt afford it without a full time job, and I dont think I'll be able to work in IT without driving.

I'd often be set off by films, TV shows, or anime featuring characters that had those things, and even characters that didn't have those things due to >tfw.

I don't really cry any more since I stopped watching everything, and I don't really feel a suspension of disbelief any more.

I don't recommend crying anyway, it always made me feel much worse than distracting myself with escapism, or more recently doing positive things instead.

It's more about clearing your head and getting into a better mindset than anything else, relaxes you and is supposed to teach you to stop overthinking, which is definitely a major problem for me.

A lot of people suggest apps and guided meditation, but honestly I find the best way is to just sit there and get the fuck on with it. The aim is to just clear your mind and not think, if you find thoughts coming to your head, it's not the end of the world, just tell them no and stop them in their tracks.

Honestly, I think the major problem people have with it is they want to finish their thought process, but you shouldn't. As a culture we have a massive hard-on for closure, wanting to finish things, think things through to the end, get annoyed when tv shows are cancelled, even stuff like not being able to stop watching something we dislike halfway through, or stop reading halfway through a chapter of a book. Meditation is definitely helping me get over this, and it feels very freeing.

That's what did it for me. The best way is to roll both legs to separate the fascia, followed by some deep stretching to gradually get the muscles used to not being stuck together. You're changing the shape of the muscles here so it might take a while to feel lasting results, but it's well worth it.

Protip: you can use the lacrosse ball on pretty much any major muscle; the more painful it is, the more it's going to benefit you.

Not when it's done right, it's uncomfortable more than anything, like lots of pressure. I had a nice white doctor this time, who made sure it was properly anaesthetised first. I had a paki junior doctor do it last time, and he numbed the wrong area and it was horrific, the pain is indescribable, it makes your stomach turn. But like I said when done correctly it just makes your back and legs feel a bit funny, OH and a massive headache after.

In other news, I just started Undertale. and did something wrong because I had to kill The Goat lady. And it's really bothering me.

That was very uncomfortable.

What always gets me, and I think what really gives away these normies and shows their lies is the way they always say that inside their head they just wanted to talk, but just couldn't.

There's not want for that, it's crushing and soul destroying. The only thing you want is for it all to be over, for this situation to just stop. You're just frozen until they get too awkward to keep going any more and leave you to yourself.

I'd even believe someone who appeared socially competent if they didn't seem like a complete liar, because I know at one point I was almost there, and even now I'm better than I have been in the past, and I see it as a possibility, but they're obviously just complete normies trying to get someone to feel sorry for them.

Once again, they're just a bit awkward or odd. Once again, it's the Mark Corrigan problem.

>Anyone else had any success treating it?

Yeah, but it's taken many months, and if you're already able to go to the gym I'm not sure any of my experiences or advice will be of any use, as I'm not not even at that level yet.

I try to avoid sitting around and ruminating on my situation, or thinking about past events as much as possible. Every time I do though, I imagine those thoughts are made of glass and I'm smashing them with a sledgehammer. Then I take 5 or 6 deep breaths to calm my nerves, and make myself do something positive that requires me to move about, like going downstairs to make food, tidying an area of my room, putting clean clothes away, having a shower, going for a walk outside, etc.

If you're having trouble with doing any of those things due to overwhelming anxiety, I suggest focusing exclusively on sleep pattern and personal hygiene routine first, and basic diet stuff like not consuming chocolate and coke all day everyday, which will help prevent you from being really on edge 24/7 and get you in a better state of mind and body to start fixing things in your life.

4, 5 and 6 are really good, although I would recommend playing fan-made retranslations of the Japanese versions over the original American releases of 4 and 6.

The first one on NES is pretty fun too if you get a pdf of the manual and write down all the information from NPCs down in a notebook, but that might be 2 oldschool 4 some.

Regarding the 3D ones, 9 was pretty good from what I played of it, but I still prefer the 2D ones. I was never a fan of 7, and 8's battlesystem just gives me headache.

I have a lot of learned behaviours and defense mechanisms leftover from those years that have only gotten worse, but they don't have any reason to exist now that I'm an adult and the situation at home has changed.

Get hold of some garlic seeds or sets, stick them in the ground around April, water them occasionally. Or if you don't have a garden you can buy some cheap plastic plant pots and some compost and grow them in a windowsill, you can grow them any time of year then. Just don't expect much growth in winter due to a lack of sun. And if you do try to plant them outside you'll want to dig a little patch for them to get rid of the grass and any weeds.

https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/grow-your-own/vegetables/garlic?type=v

I would advise finding a variety that can produce fertile seeds, just to save you some money if you fancy growing them long term.

It was. The last one me and a just 1 friend went alone it pissed it down with rain for 4 days and we had nothing at all to talk about, literal silence. It ruined my friendship with him really because until that point I assumed we really could have become good freinds and it was the opposite.

coincidentally it was the same weekend I read to kill a mockingbird cover to cover.

Because banning them clearly stops people killing each other with them. Oh wait, it doesn't. Just like how making it difficult to get guns has stopped shootings here. Oh wait. It hasn't. It's just stupid policies either made by idiots, or made by people deliberately doing what they can to make us an extremely passive population with no available weapons at all.
