I lost $4000 CAD on the CIBC Global Money Transfer system in Sept. 2019. Called several times. They said they'd do a trace so they could send me proof from the Bank of China that the money was successfully sent. Always got the feeling the representative saw something on their screen that they didn't want to tell me. Last call they passed me on to someone with a nice old lady voice who is an expert at getting people to fuck off.

I'm in Guangdong China. Does anyone know of any CIBC investments in Guangdong? Any startups or any organizations that CIBC has invested in here?
