Let’s make this board return from the underworld

I think everyone now knows that markets are Manipulated, but why no one try to find a way to trade with those people that Manipulate the Market.

Yeah, I know that Is difficult and there is not much informations about those type of things, but are you really sure?

The best way to find and confirm something is to start from the beginning, so let’s start first from who Manipulate the Market..

It depends, they are a lot, and have different names like Locals/Market Makers/Hedge Funds/Banks…

Those have a lot of people that stay behind the desk for hours and hours, those can be people that studied at Economic Universities..

But not necessarily, in fact, there are a lot of self-employed algo/quant traders that sells their own software to hedge funds..

So the problem right now, is to find trusted sellers, it’s very difficult to find but not impossibile, i found some of those algo traders on Sierra Chart.

Now, they don’t trade only with softwares, they have a wide range of strategies.

The most used are:

- Spreads/Correlations, they use those for predict some Markets, for example, EURJPY is Negative Correlated to Gold (if the trend of one is bullish the trend of the other should be bearish) not every time, but this is an example of correlation/negative correlation

- Orderflow, probably a lot of you heared about this, people say that is easy to trade with orderflow, but it’s not real. This give you a lot of informations like what’s happening into a Bar, and algo traders use those informations to make Softwares. For example there is a pattern for check if the market on a specified price is Exhausted, possible reversal patterns etc..

- Volumes, this is very, very important, i love both VbP (Volume by Price) and VbT (Volume by Time), VbP can be found with Volume Profiles/Session Profile… and VbT can be Tick Volumes. Thos are very good to check for reversal/continuation on a trend.

Seems order flow is the best however statistical arbitrage is very profitable too.

I think alemda research is using cointergration for their stat arb and they are 1000’s of bitcoin in profit.

Seems like with some ML and data mining and the like you can gain maybe a 10% edge over others, but I will leave it at that as I am working on a few things myself.
