As I lay awake this morning I was doing some thinking. When I took my four days off I worked on trying to figure out the source of my recent anxiety. I tried to go a bit deeper into the source of my prudishness and to really evaluate just why I viewed it as important.

The conclusion I reached was that in relation to individuals the prudishness had to go. I could not be a judgemental person who looked down on others or made them feel bad about themselves for not being pure as snow. I was also at risk of being a massive hypocrite too. I could not try and control everyone around me in order to try and spare myself discomfort. This is what I resolved.

In my defence I have to say that my disapproval of alcohol, smoking and drugs was always rooted in the anxiety that witnessing it caused, not any sense of my own superiority. I have a lot of childhood trauma wrapped up in seeing people destroy themselves that way. I can't even stand to see people smoking in movies now. That is what happens when shit imprints on you as a child and fucks you up.

But anyway. I decided the judgement of individuals had to go. But I have been thinking a bit more deeply about my values in general, and as relates to the NEET General I am not sure just exactly how much I should let go. I did not really enjoy the thread last night. I would say why but people would just feel attacked and I would look all prudish again. But it is all just so repetitive. Is it wrong to want something more?

The obvious thing to say is that if I don't like it I should leave. I have no right to try and change the whole world to better suit my individual preferences. But the problem is that giving up the Gen means giving up Cruisey, and he has been the only decent thing in my life for quite a long time now.

I sort of feel like the Gen has me hostage. I have to read it in order to stay in touch with and chat to Cruisey, but it causes me all kinds of distress and makes me a bit pissy and unpleasant too because all the repetitive and disgusting shit just makes me want to scream and sometimes I can't help myself from making pissy remarks.

Actually that was me maybe I was bitching about work but that was more frustration then fucking up. They had a time limit on a job which was to small for it to be completed properly

I am looking up driving instructors in my local area. I am going to book some lessons soon so I can refresh my skills and get some confidence to drive.
