2 tbsp of minced garlic

2 tsp of minced chilli

2 diced capsicums

250g of sliced mushrooms

200g of diced bacon (dicing it yourself is cheaper than buying diced bacon)

2 grated carrots

2 stalks of celery

4 tbsp Italian herbs (might add an extra tbsp later on)

2-3 bay leaves (depending on size)

500mL beef stock

1 jar of black olives

1 can of diced tomatoes

1 jar of tomato passata

Update on the peculiarity of bread if anyone is interested. I bought some plain flour from the store instead of self raising flour. The plain flour is the same price as I mentioned, and the reason I didn't buy the SR flour is because I thought that already had yeast in it, but no. Just baking powder.

Instead, I'll try making some unleavened bread to go along with tonight's dinner of pasta. This kind of bread is fairly fast to prepare and cook apparently, and you don't need yeast either.

Next I will need to clean the living/dining area, which should be relatively easy. I think I will cheat a bit and not go too hard cleaning the Venetian blinds.
