Went ahead and started an Asatru folder in the "We can make folders in here…" section. Just added the lower res and higher res recommended reading lists. Gonna be working on a Mark II version of that, but that's what I've got for now. Hopefully more will come forward and add additional materials.

I just logged in again, and the images are there. I created a folder, and then I used "File upload" to upload the individual files. I don't have an entire folder to upload, I gave you what I got. I'm hoping more asatruars upload more files to that folder.

Three of the links were dead, so I had to take care that and hunt 'em down.

So now all of the files are accounted for. Please be patient while I sort them all into folders.

As I'm typing this, I'm currently uploading the folder in it's current state. It's about 95% finished. Currently I'm burned the fuck out, and will finish on Monday (possibly sooner, but I have a busy weekend, so I want to play it safe just in case.)

When it is finished, it will be improved upon compared to the original Temple of our Heathen Gods archive. Several links that just lead to HTML pages now have a .pdf in their place due to me either hunting said .pdf down, or procuring an .azw or .epub and converting said docs to .pdf.

There are also several books there that weren't there before (a couple more of Bill Linzie, as well as a few more translations of some works, and The Ring of the Nibelung is now complete: instead of consisting of only Siegfried and The Twilight of the Gods, The Rhinegold and The Valkyrie are in their as well.

I also took the liberty of improving the overall organizational structure, particularly with books in the Additional Books in order by author section (i.e books on the history of Viking Age Vinland are now grouped together in a folder; Fiction that draws heavily from Sagaic sources are now grouped with the Sagas, etc.) Though their are still many books that just have their own folder, due to being kind've fuzzy in terms of how to place them, but at least they aren't just dumped into a group haphazardly.

What I have left to do:

1. Download and upload Viking Society materials from the Studies and Misc. Sections.

2. Go through the main Temple library page of links to hunt down a few more books that lead to HTML pages (particularly in the Icelandic Sagas section.)

3. Convert my .azw of the Complete Works of Tacitus to .pdf (I had trouble finding a .pdf online, and the conversion of this particular version is giving me a fit, so I may have to try it with a different version.)

4. Overall do a once over to make sure everything is spick and span.

Please check it out to see if anything is "off" and provide feedback. I hope for this to be a definitive and perfected version of the Temple of Our Heathen Gods archive.

So wow, I was taking a gander through my folders again, and never mind about Number 3. Apparently a couple of conversion jobs that I thought was botched ended up working out.

You can find the Complete Works of Tacitus (in both English and Latin, if you're down for that) in the folder "Old Norse Poems Lee M Hollander" (I was using that folder as an output folder for .azw conversions.) and also in the "The Works of Tacitus" folder ( I did a second attempt there.)

This faggot wiped out the entire library while I was at 34% of downloading all the asatru files.

What should we do now? Create a new account? Maybe create separate accounts for all of us and just import from each others stuff?

I should note though that there are ways for trolls to take down any megas that are shared at all and it keeps happening constantly on /pol/ and it's very easy to do.

Each uploader having their own separate account with their own content on it for you to download and then upload to your one master account would probably be the most secure method. For example: I start my own Mega account, upload the pdf collection to said account. Then you download it to your computer and then upload it to your new collector account.

Not as efficient as directly sharing accounts, but far more secure, with no passwords/usernames out in the open, and hopefully tougher for trolls to exploit.

Either way, I'm going to go ahead and start my own Mega account tomorrow, and reupload the pdfs there.
