Now I don't like using the term Orthodox Heathenism to describe it but it seems mildly fitting. The job of this discord is be a place for heathens to discuss a way of finding the truths of the faith. This is meant to be here to force all of asatruars and heathens to act a certain way but it is standardizing beliefs through logic and historical precedent and discussion to create a coherent set of beliefs for heathens that wish to have such a thing.

The discord is small, I am not going to lie we only have two members at the moment. We would love to have good discussions and asatru and heathenism, we have sections to discuss.

-Cosmology/Theology

-Symbolism

-History

and are planning to add more when the need arises, we also have standard casual and scheduled debate areas for cool calm collected debate. Political debate is to be kept in a channel only for political debate, this includes discussion of Universalist and Folkish heathenism.

Isn't Discord that site which leaks user data to governments and all other manner of foul creatures in Midgard? That isn't to say I'm not against such things seeing my conversions or what I believe but I wouldn't want to needlessly give away my position before the battle.

Discord is a very bad site when it comes to collecting user data, but it is tremendously good for conversation. The subject matter of our discord isn't something that is too important if looked at on records and if you are worried about your user data just use discord on a browser with a VPN installed, may or may not work.
