First of all, - to people who say nudism is a subversive element today, I would agree with them, although it was not always that way and it doesn't have to be that way any longer.

Nudism was a common aspect of all Aryan cultures prior to Christianity. The ancient Aryans who spread out from modern day Ukraine were nearly all unclothed, though it was not uncommon to wear accessories such as cloaks, fur, etc, espically in the colder climates. One of the things that has always turned me off from christianity is their absolute lack of disdain for sexuality. I don't mean liberal hypersexuality but healthy sexuality between man and woman. Repressing sexual desires is one of the core reasons why movements like feminism and liberalism with their doctrines of unlimited sexual desire flower and grow.
The prudity of some christians seems almost unhealthy to me as sex is a completely natural act of bonding between husband and wife or lovers. Everybody considering nudism should take it upon themselves to get fit. Unless you are just absolutely untermensch, you have the full capability of becoming a beautiful figure and having the kind of body that glorifies nudism, your heritage, your faith, whatever. The primary constraints are money, time, and willpower, as with just about anything else. I'm not /asatru/, but a lot of people around these chans like to characterize pagans as being either really fat or really wimpy, and my experiences with them IRL completely justify that stereotype. The image of modern paganism needs to be completely reversed if you want to spread it and succeed against the other faiths out there that have been far more competitive and widespread so far. There will always be people calling you LARPers, but if you do a damn good job at it and take your faith seriously enough, they will back down from your imposing strength and stop speaking out in such ways. Imagine what it would be like if the average person thought of a strong and beautiful man with great skills and ancestral reverence, rather than some pimply neckbeard neo-nazi in a basement. I'm not saying that public image is the most important thing in the world, but it certainly matters, and would feel good to not only have that association but to live up to it. Rather than just talking about nudity and beauty, how many of you are legitimately working hard at improving yourselves in such ways?
