I just have something going on in the same wheel as last time. I lubed up my brakes and it's not making a nasty noise anymore, but I didn't really take it for a full test drive yet.
I think it's like the caliper is oversqueezed tbh. I need to grab a c-clamp next time I'm out.

I don't do much for mechanic work and don't have too many tools but brakes is one thing i remember how to do on this car. I got a C clamp with a button release. it's great.
You probably already know about it but they have these grease packets you put on the parts of the brake that isn't the part used to stop, like the rotor and inside the caliper and such. It helps with the squeal.

Rotor grinding. Pads are okay, I didn't take the rotor off this time, but it could be the handbrake hardware again. I'm just doing one thing at a time for diagnostics.
Like I said, it's as if the caliper is squeezing the pads too much so I get the grindy noise on the innermost brakepad, but the pad itself is still good/it's not grinding on the squealer yet.

We do have that curry sauce, its more fish and chip shop style curry sauce than actual chinese curry sauce. I think the chinese version has more pepper in it to give it a little bit of a spicey undertone.
