The biggest project for me is the hub assembly. it isn't much but still a pain. tire off, brakes off, rotor off, assembly off, then replaced.
I've done my own tie rod end when it disconnected on US highway and i had to park in an applebee's parking lot in the middle of the night. I watched someone do it before to my car so i just repeated what they did. watch the amount of turns off and the new one just as many back on so as to keep the alignment correct.
