Thoughts on tkmiz/Tsukumizu, creator of Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou/Girls' Last Tour and the upcoming Shimeji Simulation?

Probably my favorite artist right now personally, and I'm super hyped for Shimeji Simulation.

His art is okay at best, in my opinion. The wide head, doodle style designs worked best with Hidamari, and that magic will mever be recaptured.

Not as bad as Tsukushi's "stuffed animal with a wide anime head slapped on" style, but still a bit bland and soulless.

It was building up to this from the very beginning, the whole message of Girls' Last Tour was: Life is shit and meaningless but there are some nice moments in it, although they are being squashed by the general feeling of despair.

So it wouldn't fit to actual give the girls a goal that they could accomplish.
