There was a manga I remember reading about a decade ago. Where Watamote focuses more autistic take on social isolation A Silent Voice takes a normie and then shows them being socially ostracized and their gradual break down and redemption.
If you're too lazy to read it the OVA does a good job of summarizing everything well enough but if you have the time I'd say the manga edges it out in terms of feels. I may go ahead and make a bullying just for this manga.

It explores how people regard others based on the monkey sphere concept I think and how one could limit their own perception of society if they close themselves off from social interaction once they've given up on interactions in general.

I really like how the isolation theme extends to the whole cast instead of being just something about the 2 main characters. Every character struggles to be understood in some way and ironically this shared experience of isolation is actually something that connects everyone.

It's a weird romance-ish story where the main characters deal with ghosts of people who haven't gone to the afterlife, and they themselves are occasionally on the verge of dying due to some circumstances regarding their own souls. It doesn't follow common romance tropes and there isn't a lot of drama, it strikes a really good balance between being light hearted and funny but also having an intriguing story and plot progression. I also like how the characters are so awkward but clearly love and care about each other a lot.
It's hard to describe it, on the surface it doesn't seem that good, but I just couldn't stop reading. It's refreshing to read a romance that isn't haremshit or driven by misunderstandings and cliches.
