But, I will not comment nonsense about my personal life.
What I will put here in the thread will be comments that occurred to me, of several anime that I am seeing.

Just make one or more threads for whatever anime you're watching then. Like a thread for Merc Storia or something. Why have your personal diary on the catalog?

Why not?
Having to make a thread for every comment that comes to my mind is too much for me.
It is better to have a single thread and place everything I can think of there.

I've heard on 4chan sometimes, they say that KyoAni uses film techniques for their animations although they do not know how to do it very well, but I do not think that's the case. If I have to mention a study that uses film techniques that would be TRIGGER.

It's one of the ones I made, it cost me an egg, but in the end I made it.
Especially because a colored character takes the protagonism broke the paradigms, something that almost never see in the anime.
And especially coming from the hand of one of the most important figures of the animation and creator of Cowboy Bebop.

Similar. I'm waiting on Christmas. I feel like I should get a bottle of bourbon and some eggnog but I've been losing weight recently and I know that would set me back. I had salmon for dinner with some couscous and green beans which was my only meal of the day. Have you been playing Smash?

You're right. I might go do pick up a bottle Saturday. I'm going to be making a gingerbread house with my family anyways and I'm going to pick up a bunch of candy for it anyways. I know how you feel. I used to be a big gamer growing up but the last few years I haven't played much. I picked up smash but I haven't played it much at all. This holiday season I guess I tried to get back into gaming but failed at it. I'd rather watch an anime while piled under a down comforter to keep warm. It has been cold as fuck lately. Anything you're looking forward to for presents or Christmas dinner?

Curious, something similar is happening to me but instead of games is Anime, it's been some years since i watched anything worthwhile, i rather read manga now, must be the voices of the modern characters or something.
This Christmas the whole family reunited, this was unsuspected as most of us are usually busy with our affairs, i just want to see how it plays out during the relevant dates.

Welcome to the chat. That's good. Nothing feels better than getting out from under debt. It's a huge weight off your shoulders that you didn't know was there. Good job. I'm not big on New Years (kind of hate it because I'm retarded and it takes me like three weeks to start writing the year right) but Halloween and Christmas are great. I'm trying to eat consciously but we'll be having a big spiral cut ham for Christmas dinner. I just have to eat manageable portions.

> it's been some years since i watched anything worthwhile
I think everyone has that moment of burnout. When we ask ourselves "why am I watching this?". For me it was when shows started to blend together. I started only watching OVAs and feature films, then I took a break from allthings weeb for some time, and wouldn't have found a way back if it wasn't for manga. It just has more variety than anime overall.

I get into modes where I do nothing but read manga and then switch back to watch anime. It's easier to watch anime which is why I tend to do it in winter. The cold makes me lethargic. When I do read manga though I burn through series like crazy. It's a good thing there's so much more manga than anime. Family is good. My dad is in another state but I'm at my mom's with her boyfriend. My brother doesn't talk to anyone and hasn't for years. Cousins are all over the map and they're probably going to spend it with their immediate families. I'm looking at a small three person Christmas I guess.

It's important to have bonds, with both family and friends. While there is no need to reunite the whole family on every holiday that comes up, it's nice to have family to rely on and them on you even if just every now and then.
My relationship with my brother is pretty good, but it wasn't until our late teens, when we both fiured out that at the end of our lives we would most likely be the only blood-related family available for each other. Some friendships you don't get to pick and have to make work no matter what. And we found we had more in common than we thought we had.

My brother's an Iraqi war vet and pretty much lost it after he got back from the war. My mom will stalk his facebook and I'll get news of him now and then. Turns out he's growing shrooms to help with his PTSD. I hope he's in a better place now than when I last saw him. He just closed himself off from everybody over time. He lives in a different state too so I can't just show up and see how he's doing and he changed his number on the family. I hope he's all right.

That's heavy man. I don't want to butt in too much, after all it's a completely different experience from mine. But I'll say that it might be better to reach to him every now and then, even if it's just for some pointless "hey how you doing" talk, than one day finding yourselves in a position when you absolutely need to have some serious talk about whatever, and find yourselves speaking for the first time in months/years. In any way, best wishes to you and your family.

Thank you for the advice. I wish i could reach out to him. He's kind of made it clear he wants nothing to do with any of us and has made it almost impossible to contact. He's like a ghost. I'm glad you have a good relationship with your brother. Family is important. I have a pretty close relationship with my mom. She's great. My dad kind of got a new family after their divorce so while I get through his phone a few times a year like Father's Day and Christmas we don't really talk. At this point I'm closer to my mom's boyfriend than my dad. Sorry I'm being such a downer. See any good movies lately?

Haven't watched a movie in over two years now. Stopped doing it when I realized I had more fun watching youtybers rip them appart and that I didn't care about being spoiled anymore. However, Im legit curious about that spider man animated movie. the trailer captured my attention with it's artstyle alone, and reviewers that usually shit all over that holywood crap actually didn't fund this one too bad.

I used to be into Marvel when I was a kid but it's been a long time. I'll still catch a Marvel movie during the summer but I'm not really excited about them. I did see Mortal Engines recently which I thought was an amazing movie but it's bombing at the box office so they'll probably never make a sequel. Hopefully I'm getting the books the movie was based on for Christmas as it's an intriguing world and I would like to visit it more.

Oh man I've never heard of Tailenders but yes exactly like that. Big cities on tank tracks getting used as prey by the biggest city of all London. There's some twists and turns to Mortal Engines storywise but I thought the idea of cities on track was an original idea. Just goes to show that anime tends to do things first.

Good morning. Thanks for the recommendation. I've got it on an external hard drive now and will be watching it soon. It seems to be more about racing whereas Mortal Engines was more about the cities. Still it looks fantastic.

MERRY CHRISTMAS/animu/
I'm spending a couple days in the middle of nowhere with close family only. No extended family/friends etc… and liking it. Pretty comfy.
