Recently, I just got that error during the time when I was using PixivUtil2 to download things. At first it worked just fine, that is until it reached near the end on certain images where it got stuck. This didn't happened back then when I had an old modem, so what's going on?

Give a couple of image IDs so I can test. I'm running it through mine right now without issue but I also use it cloned and updated through Git whenever I run it.

WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU STRIP OUT THE [Authentication] SECTION BEFORE DOING THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO SHARE YOUR LOGIN TO THE WORLD!!
Post your config to Pastebin or something maybe it's one of your settings?

It's trivial on platforms that come with Python by default. Just did it. However while Danbooru downloading works for me regularly I can't log in ("[danbooru][error] HttpError: '401 Unauthorized' for 'https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts.json'") I did cross-check my password.

Didn't know what? PixivUtil2's config? Just strip that part of the config file out if you're going to share it. There may be some setting causing issues?
For gallery-dl you can pass -u username -p password but I just get that error when I try.

I see, but there is another problem I had before. If I strip them out, a reCaptcha message appeared whenever I tried to log in. This happened before I fill the [Authentication] section.

No no! I'm asking you to upload your config file somewhere so I can take a look at it and confirm how its settings are to mine! But I don't want you leaking your password or anything like that.

Pretty much the same as mine except I make it stop if it finds up to 15 unchanged images. This is generally how you want it if using it for artists and not for tags.

Well I download stuff from the artists all the time for organisation purposes. I haven't been using PixivUtil2 because of the problems that I'm not sure what it cause.

https://github.com/mikf/gallery-dl/releases
https://www.python.org/downloads/
Download gallery-dl and install python
Open up a command line in gallery-dl's folder. Shift + RightClick in windows explorer will give you the option "Open command window here"
You can follow "galler-dl.exe --help" and figure it out from there.
If you can't, just type in
>gallery-dl.exe -u [USERNAME] -p [PASSWORD] [PIXIV URL]
It'll save it in the executable's current folder unless you specify a directory using "-d [DIR]"
>[EXE's DIR]\gallery-dl\pixiv\[target user]\
Where target means either the artist you're scraping or your own username if it's your bookmarks.
What I do is make a config file with my user/pass, use "--range" to limit it to recent bookmarks, and "--download-archive" to avoid downloading anything again if I move or delete anything.
It supports a bunch of other sites.

I heard there's "YouTube-dl" and I think it was made by the same people who made this.
