Since the Coronavirus outbreak is clearly not going to slow down any time soon, we might as well have some ABDL-related discussion of it.

How has the outbreak affected you?

Are you enjoying working diapered from home?

Have you been quarantined in some random country miles away from home?

Are you liking the extra alone time, or is it starting to get old?

How hard are you laughing at the simpletons still using toilet paper?

The only thing this outbreak has caused, is my YouTube Feed being spammed with misinformation and rampant hysteria. The virus isn't near as bad as the garbage coming from The Media.

truth. If this were a smallpox outbreak, THEN we should panic.

Not that trying to mitigate an outbreak of anything is ever a BAD idea, but the majority of the population doesn't need to panic over this. it only kills ~ 10 times as many of the people infected with it that a "regular" flu does. The thing is, every day flu's dont kill very many people. 10 times as much as 0.1% is still only like 1%…

Fucking sucks. Now everyone who lives with me is working from home 24/7 meaning no diaper time.

Obviously I am not getting this luxury and the boss is constantly parroting "It's just a flu bro" while someone is already off with mucus in their lungs.

I'm a registered nurse from sweden. Currently I am working in psychiatry after moving over from an almost ten year stint in internal medicine. We currently have two patients we're observing for suspected corona.

So hopefully I'll catch just a tiny little bit of it, so I can re-sub to world of warcraft, put on some diapers and just afk from real life for about three weeks.

But on a serious note, don't drop your caution against getting infected because you want to be at home.

A 2% mortality rate isn't that high, but it's much bigger that the typical flu, and it's really not worth risking it if you don't have to.

My office was closed late last week, now I'm working from home for some time. I don't live alone, although I can work padded without any problem in my room, it doesn't give me any thrill. I don't live in the USA and people here didn't buy toilet paper like lunatics, so I can't laugh at the toiletfags yet.

The major problem, is that it's summer. I can't enjoy diapers even when I go to bed, the thing just cooks my balls and I wake up in the middle of the night to take them off. Don't even think about a stroll padded during the day, even pullups will fuck your shit up.

In short, excellent opportunity to be in nappies, but the weather doesn't help at all.

What is an electric bill increase?

I appreciate the suggestion and I thought about that before. It's too much money used for the sake of my fetish. Summer is about to end anyway, fall begins in April, so I can go back to nappies as usual. Having a time-out of diapers is great because it makes me want to wear them even more. Using all the time can make it trivial, you simply won't have the same fun every time. That's one of the reasons I never went 24/7.

Today I officially start working from home for the foreseeable future due to the coronavirus. But I've only got 4 diapers in the house.

I ordered some more online earlier this week, but everything seems delayed and shipping is weird.

What's the best way I can get some high quality diapers to my place quickly?

I moved out to my own house 3 weeks ago, and Corona hits us, which gave me finally a reason to be able to work from home full time.

I spent all of last week diapered 24/7, working while diapered, and it has been the best week of my ABDL life.

Waking up, changing diapers, making a can of coffee, and actually having a great time working.

10/10 would recommend pandemic again.

I would like to update my position on this: covid-19 is probably at least as bad as the media/CDC says it is. I am officially saying I had it wrong before. I figured this would fizzle and not amount to much of anything.

Also, asking this here as well

Will we still be able to order diapers online from companies like northshore? What about clearly ABDL companies like tykables? On one hand, they dont have people coming in to a physical store, so I would imagine it wouldnt be a big deal, but on the other hand, will shipping to homes still be allowed? will they even be able to go in to work to get shippments out?

Should I be buying some diapers right now? I usually don't have more than 10 or 15 at a time, but there isn't a reason why I couldnt.

I still think that we would be absolutely ass-fucked as a species if there were smallpox, compared to what is happening now which is getting punched really hard in the face from covid-19.

Dont be fucking stupid they are a business and they can still operate. Neither UPS or Fedex will stop operating and China continues to export.

There is no grand emergency and the number of flu deaths continue to to be double corona deaths, even though flu deaths are down 15% from last year thanks to all the corona precautions.

>There is no grand emergency and the number of flu deaths continue to to be double corona deaths

I beg to differ, this is much worse (10x at least) than the flu. I speak with ER doctors all the time about this, covid knocks you out of commission pretty quickly. To the point the doctors treating patients are dying or have to be put on life support. It's nothing like the flu. It also continues to spread rapidly because people aren't taking it seriously. This virus has only been around since October and look at the chaos it's caused. You can't even get an accurate number on how many are infected or have died due to lack of testing available.

>Will we still be able to order diapers online from companies like northshore

As of right now you should be fine with orders online. Covid doesn't last but a few hours on packages /plastics / hard surfaces. So even if a diaper or box had the virus on it you'd be okay by time it arrived at your house. Still wash your hands and have the driver leave the box on your porch instead of meeting them at the door.

>10x worse than the flu

I don't give a shit what the weatherman said the numbers dont come close to the flu. I am actually getting more enraged that no one gives a shit about the fucking flu each year, but are happy to tank the economy over this disease

>doctors treating patients

And I find this part to be hilarious. This is a viral disease. There is no treatment that can be administered all they can do is give fluids, antihistamines/steroidal/pyretics, and wait to see if you beat it. Yet medical personnel are acting like they are actually doing shit when this is something that can be handled by a RN and it comes down to researchers to figure this out.

The fact that people are filling up what is the most diseased places in order to wait out an illness is ridiculous. It would be safer if they just stayed home and wait there for whatever antiviral/antiparasitic/monoclonal antibody to come out.

>inb4 muh ventilator therapy

It isn't a fucking therapy it is life support. You are on it because you are no longer compatible with life.Your chances of coming off it alive are obscenely low, your chances of coming off the same way you went on (aka with your vocal cords intact) are lower.

>the weatherman

You mean people much more intelligent than you or I? Ya know, people that have studied infectious diseases most of their lives? Know how they spread and work and know the actual numbers on how many people die from the flu each year? Because even they are saying it's worse. I mean hell even Bill Gates has come out and said it's not something to fool around with and unless people start doing what these doctors say it's going to last a hell of a lot longer and continue to get worse.

But nooo you still have retards like the spring break kids and that 21 year old who mocked it and catch / die from it.

Yes they are treating the patients..are you thick? Of course there's no cure..It's a new fucking disease dumbass. But breathing treatments and ventilators allow you to last until your body begins to fight it off…or some form of cure is available. But hey I'm sure you'll be fine when struggling to breathe, you won't want any form of help right?

There's lots more that would be dead without that help. You put the high risk and the ones showing major symptoms in the hospital because if it shuts down their respiratory system they'll likely die before help can get to them otherwise. The ones with minor symptoms or no symptoms should stay home because yes there is no "cure" yet and they just increase the strain already on our medical system and can infect even more people…hence the lock downs and social distancing they keep talking about.

They've already said it causes permanent damage to the lungs no matter how severe your case is..that's why it leaves a scar on your lung tissue that can't be repaired once you get over it.

Well since you like to praise people in the medical field please feel free to praise me, but seriously.

why do you discredit yourself so much? Anyone has the capacity to learn anything. My doctorate makes me an expert the same way a labcoat makes a monkey a pop star.

You have the ability to read research papers and take note of current events and it would be wise to not use the brain of someone who's paycheck depends on seeing hypochondriacs. It also isnt healthy to praise Bill Gates the man that literally stole from xerox to make his OS.

Ventilators aren't a joke and I know if I was told I was going to be put on one I wouldn't expect myself to come off it alive. You should also be aware as much as everyone is freaking out about not enough life expectancy lowering machines less than 3% of critical cases needed them the shit storm in italy had to do with poor hospitals in bumbfuck nowhere had like 2 on hand and were trying to cheap out on re-breather valves.

>permanent damage to lungs

Holy fuck this one pisses me the fuck off. I read the fucking report looked over the films and scans those fuckers flat out lied and attempted to pull a fucking fast one. Almost as bad as when they were claiming it made you sterile and/or caused kidney damage when somefaggot in china wrote a retarded ass paper that became fucking news until someone with any reading comprehension went over it.

I would probably wear even more often but I play VR games with my brother and a few of our friends almost daily and I'm super paranoid that they'd hear the crinkling over the mic especially in a game where you move around a lot. I could go cloth but since cleaning those is a bit tricky in my current living situation using them is almost always more trouble than its worth.
