It's so fucking sad honestly. I supported her on Patreon so long primarily for her art in this kink. For her to just abandon all the people that loved her works, and for her to even attempt to erase it all, really sucks. I'm glad she became successful but I'm just really disappointed to see things turn out this way.

It's not like people weren't warned from the beginning. You were shelling out for an artist that didn't even have the fetish and made it plainly clear she had no taste or pride of her own, just that she'd draw anything for money and change whatever she could to make more money. Anyone could see that in the long term she'd just draw for the highest bidder, and that this fetish lacks the affluence to make that bid. The end game was clear from the first move.

It's remarkable how well you all shot yourselves and everyone else in the foot. Merunyaa was supported through mediocrity until years of incremental improvement added up to a degree of commercial viability outside of a vacuous niche market. I'll never understand what people saw in her work. Her colors are gaudy, her faces are obnoxious, and her diapers are simply very plain.

Now imagine if you'd handed that money over to an artist that actually shares your fetish, how much better off you'd be. You'd have someone even better than her who happily draws your fetish. I wonder why you all didn't. Maybe because they didn't openly advertise they have a vagina?

I can't help but think that Merunyaa's (relatively) huge fandom and now the backlash over her ducking out of the community is like 95% just a result of how freewheeling she was with commissions, drawing tons and being up for basically whatever her customers wanted. Her style's fine, but there's nothing else about her art that's ever struck me as distinguishing her from any other ABDL artist who's been able to monetize relatively successfully. A cadre of people just lost their shit over her because she was willing to cater to whatever and draw whomever for cash.

And the flipside to that is that, if she doesn't need the cash anymore, there's no reason for her to stay a part of the community. Ya'll should've known what you signed up for.
