The joke in my head s that Nagatoro's theme is the devil sisters' song, who represent laws and ruuurus, whereas Nagatoro is chaotic and anarchic, and the president will have the angel's song who are anarchic and chaotic, whereas she is all about the ruuurus and regulations.
Of course, I initially picked that song, because it had something about love in it, and was quite demonic, but now I could make a small inside joke

I hope after this arc, we can go back to focusing on Nagatoro's and Senpai's romance. I really don't want to turn this into another Watamote where it gets bogged down into too many side characters, and it stops being about an outcast girl's anxiety and becomes yuri harem bullshit. Not to say I don't like the conflict, but I hope it's used to fuel Nagatoro and Senpai's interactions rather becoming some kind bully harem bullshit.

Anon didn't you see how Nagatoro is reacting towards Senpai regarding the President? She's more territorial and challenged than we've ever seen her before. This will definitely stick to the romance.
Also, and I know anons don't want to hear this, but looking back over the manga shows an unprecedented pace for the budding romance between Nagatoro and Senpai. It's been nothing but speed from the get-go without any real diversions, including character growth in Senpai and the two of them even going on their first date (unofficially, of course). If there wasn't some kind of narrative arc to interest the reader while changing things up we'd either end up with a brick wall of death for the manga wherein all pace dies and the same joke is repeated forever, or we'd end up with two more issues where the confession and kiss finally happens--which, as any SoL reader knows, is the final act of these stories and would mean the manga has come to an end.
