Ishigami;

Kaguya not only legitimately threatening his life, but forcing him to stay in the Student Council, really put a bad taste in my mouth.

Shimizu;

He did nothing wrong, he (justifiably) misspoke on one occasion and it negatively affected Takizawas view of him forever. Her being his senpai makes it even worse.

>Implying any of this was to be taken seriously, instead of as comedic loose words that bear no real weight regarding anything

>The story would continue to be the same with or without those events, because those were the author's inconsequential interventions that must be taken lightly.

>If the author meant for these events of actions to have some burden, it would actually have consequences

>They don't, and don't forget that the author is God, so every event that happens and doesn't happen is because it was chosen

>So events and actions with consequences, and inconsequential ones are equally dismissable and superfluous, disposable, as the author can substitute them for everything else it wishes, by changing the course of the story

>So no, again, those events are meaningless and it was the author's intention that they would be meaningless - if they weren't, the author wouldn't put them in the story.

Why is this a thread?

Why is this even a post?

The gist of your pseudo intellectual, worthless, derailing post was that nothing characters do or say matters unless it has serious and lasting impact on the plot, as the author just chooses to write it, and authors almost never choose to write anything that impacts their story.

You're clearly not invested in characters or to that extent stories if 90% of what happens is completely pointless to you, and you have absolutely 0 grasp on the SoL and RomCom genres, of which both characters are from, if you think absolutely nothing matters unless it heavily changes and impacts the plot. If what the author writes the characters as in SoL and RomCom isn't actually who the characters are or are meant to be, then the characters aren't characters to you and you are not invested in the series.

It's obvious English is your second language, so get out of my thread, Sven.

So you did understand what I said but then went on a wrong conclusion?

Man, you sure are retarded, congrats.

This has nothing to do with being invested with characters or not, but realizing their actions aren't theirs.

Thinking the decisions of characters don't define them because they're just empty vessels for the author = Not being invested in the story, you fucking idiot.

No, that's your retardation speaking.

Separating and identifying things is not the same as not being invest.

It seems what you lack is logic, you're indeed retarded.

 No.918832

>>918826

English definitely isn't your first language, huh, retard?

If 90% of the story is completely irrelevant to you because of some autistic view about the author and his creations, then you are not invested in the story. You can't say 90% of it is moot and then claim to be still invested. That's retarded.

He's right, you know.
