With christmas approaching I was thinking of making a cake for my waifu. The idea is something like a boston cream cake where there is some kind of non-icing filling between layers of cake. I was thinking of low sugar custard with other things mixed in (chocolate chips, nuts, fruit, etc). I was also considering something less viscous like yogurt and pudding or at the opposite end whipped cream or ice cream.
