There's subtleties in the armor like more rounded shoulders/larger breast plates even for flat chested girls to allow room for the padding underneath the plate to protect that area that simply makes female plate that much better. Truly there are numerous wonderful armors for girls from studded leather to chainmail all the way up through full plate.
