The nature of humor is getting enjoyment from what you do not understand without actually remaining steadfast in your beliefs, and, many a lie is slipped under your nose if you just keep laughing and do not stop to analyze the facts. Buddha accepts a gift of confusion when he joyfully participates in the sorrow of the world.
We are basically just animals reacting to input if laughing is the the response to some impending doom. The funny thing is, after you are still just laughing at it all, but with clearer vision. Clarity is knowledge. Knowledge is power.
