Hello, denizens of /x/. I have a proposal I wish for y’all to consider.
I’ve been working with tulpamancy a large amount recently, and a friend of mine stumbled across a neat idea for a compartmentalized, decentralized, network of human brains.
From the individual’s perspective, you’re basically tapping into the processing power of a shared hivemind of free processing space on a multitude of users’ brains, like how participants of a Bitcoin mining pool share each others’ GPU processing power in order to reach a payout in a shorter period of time.
Basically, the idea is to slave a tulpa to the astral neural network, hosted locally, or even globally on free processing space in users’ brains to “log in” in a sense.
The Tulpa can then be used as a node to interface with the network.
Through this node the user can tap into a hivemind, or just free processing space to use for whatever, depending on how you configure things.
Statistically speaking, less than or equal to 50% of the users on the network are going to be using 100% of their brains processing power at any given time, so the remaining power can be redistributed amongst those who need more than they have available to them.
With current neural chips being implemented in today’s world, it may be possible to link the astral neural network to physical hardware, creating a “node”, allowing us to use the network’s processing power in conjunction with our own hardware’s processing power (and, perhaps, even the power of any other hardware discovered on the internet with our own hardware).
With this, we can take it a step further by figuring out how to store digital media on the neural network, rethinking any given node as a computer in essence, then we can develop a functioning interface between the node and physical hardware, possibly by developing or porting a current operating system installable on a node with compatibility for the programs we know and use today, so we can not only have more speed to access and more room to store the internet, but also have the ability to attach nodes within the network to donate processing power to projects, a popular example using Folding@Home, COVID-19, and the network to tremendously increase productivity and greatly reduce the time and work needed to find a cure.
It might even be possible to integrate the existing overworld internet, with the astral internet, using technologies like neuralink as an interface.
Sidenote: This will definitely cause a steep increase in your base mental load. Equivalent Exchange folks, do not fuck around with this shit if you dont know what you are doing.
