During the 3rd Epoch of man, Technology was far more superior then than it is now. The United States was the home of the Galactic colonist from Tiamat and Marduk settled in what is now Missouri when their home worlds collided together and exploded creating the Asteroid belt between the orbits of the planets Jupiter and Mars. These two planets were originally home to the Olmec and Inca civilizations. They both arrived here around the same time on the same ship as refugees.
The two planets Tiamat and Mardok were two Earth-size planets that orbited each other and for a long long time they had a bridge between the two worlds that was similar to the tower of Babylon. The Sky Bridge between the two worlds brought both planets close together enough so that the inhabitants could pass between the two worlds via the bridge. For centuries the two worlds fought bitterly over control of the bridge tower claiming that the other side was responsible for outbreak of war due to their planet's citizens. The same was said for the other world that accused it's partner of exactly the same. Then at the end of the world between those two planets, it was decided that it would be best to destroy the tower and let Fate take it's course. Thus the two worlds collided and the remnants left for this Earth.
They brought their high technology and advanced knowledge with them when they came here, both races, but they decided together that the things that were the cause of their warring would be left behind and forbidden, such as these machines that I first told you about. Artificial intelligence was one of their crowning achievements along with a plethora of additional super computing powered advancements. They brought to Earth, many of the original secrets such as fire and language, construction and tool making. They did everything right and lived for a long time in peace and harmony as an advanced civilization for a very long time, until they started to become dependent on electricity.
Electricity as it turns out is the true root of all evil. To think that technology springs from this age is benign, to believe the fabricated history of the world today is naive. Electricity has for the most part, been the true downfall of civilization and mankind over the previous Epochs. Electricity gives rise to innovations and innovations drive the desire to create more and more advanced types of technologies. I blame Artificial Life forms and Artificial intelligence for the destruction of Atlantis and the same is true for Ceylon. Plus, this device that is encased in that lead/iron coffin is the result of this story's end.
The Jacobs Ladder is more than a spiritual climb. The origin of the story is one in the same with the bridge between the planets. I have always wondered. How do you go from rising to falling? What is the transition point in the middle where you do a flip to go upside down?
