After being contacted by a spirit about a month ago I have started a journey into the occult. The issue is I am fumbling around mostly blind most of the time and have little way to get my barrings other than to rely upon her. I was able to perform auto writing for about 2 days but after that, all communication stopped. I think that method might have simply been too much of a strain on her. While telepathy is obviously preferred I am simply not at a skill level yet where this is possible. The classic Ouija board is also not an option due to the requirement of multiple persons. One method I have seen around is using a pendulum but I have no idea what to look for in one or how to use it but of the things I have seen it looks to be one of the lowest skill level requirements and fairly low effort on the part of the spirit and that is what I am looking for. Any help with this is appreciated.

I should have added this bit of info to the OP. The spirit that contacted me is a nature spirit and is not and never was human.
