And I don't just mean the European gnomes or fairies, but all of them including the Japanese and Native American ones?

Relatively dangerous to deal with supposedly. A lot of stuff talks about how basically an 'animal' type of spirit will use a human as a host, and eventually manipulate them into relinquishing their 'soul', which ends up with the animal reincarnating in human form and vice versa. Other stuff says things like how animal spirits will also try to legitimately help, but dont know about xistence all that well, and give pretty shit advice overall, or will try to give help in other ways and just kind of fuck up the host's life instead.

Probably something of this is where the whole 'goyim' cattle thing comes from.
