>Where's the real shit at when it comes to magic and psychic abilities?
Square between your ears, nigger.
>Where are all the people that can actually manipulate 'physical' reality using supramundane means?
Doing things other than shitposting on imageboards
>Where are the people doing psychokinesis?
Good question
>Where are the people doing actual magic?
Everywhere
>Why are all magick books written by fat LARPers?
They eat like shit, and probably have less skills than they claim for.
>Why are all qi gong masters bald old guys that half the time end up getting cancer even though they're teaching longevity and health?
Because most old people lose their hair, and chinese have shitty food.
>Why does everybody have a billion different excuses for why magic doesn't work (magical abilities limit your spiritual growth, magic is only capable of effecting probability, and other such nonsense excuses)?
Because they're not as skilled as they care to admit.
>Why can no one so much as snuff out a candle flame with their mind alone?
They probably did, but you never saw them do it.
>I'm not a material dogmatist, and I think there's plenty of anecdotal precedent for the existence of supernatural abilities, so I'm not willing to outright dismiss it, but jesus christ is it difficult to find anything that's not just a bunch of retarded LARPers.
I understand you bro,
that's the problem with a lot of occult books. There are certain semantics about magick that just hard to mentally digest. Sometimes you have to reread shit all over again, many things that most occult authors explain about, even if passionately, are not always hyperbole, but not always literal either.
Magick is a lot like working out, or programming, or drawing or any sort of art, it takes time and patience. But you can make it.
>So, where's the good shit at? Surely, there's at least one book out there that wasn't written by some crackhead armchair occultist, that's legit and can actually reliably teach you these skills so that you can verify them for yourself.
PDF related, a /fringe/ user who has a whole load of unpadded, agnostic information on the occult, good shit, although you'll need to search for archive.fo for the links to his kabbalah posts. I've included a recreation of his tree of life diagram, along with the tattvas if you want to go down that path.
I know, >vampires, but hear me out. Kabbalah, despite being vampireish in origin actually runs counter to most of what the merchant cult actually practices- which is qlipthoth.
Swamij.com has a nice amount of information, but I would recommend you stick solely to link related because the rest of the site is WORDSWORDSWORDSWORDS.

In fact, just stick to the mind and senses before going onto anything advanced,
good luck out there.
