Couple of tips for the aspiring LARPer:
If you're gonna do the whole 'mysterious internet cult thing' shell out the 50$ for proper web hosting; 'dot wordpress' looks cheap and instantly makes you aware that the person behind the site didn't even have a couple of bucks to spare.
Don't include artwork unless it's of a professional quality, that image with all the pieces of paper looks terribly juvenile.
And finally, work on your writing skills: "'First off this is a society based on the idea that multiple worlds/realms exist" -that sort of informal style is very amateurish and instantly clues the reader in that's it's been written by someone that's not too smart and/or very young.
All in all, very poor LARP. But a bit more effort into next time.

That is the dumbest “advice” I have heard in ages. If anyone wants to pretend there is a mysterious cult, they should not give it some official web address. That would be fucking retarded. A blog talking about the cult is the way to go – maybe a person who managed to get out spilling the beans on the cult started a blog to tell the world about their experiences.
Any faux-official website should be very simple and innocent-looking – like the official webpage for the Church of Scientology. No actual mysterious cult would put their secrets on the surface web for anyone to see.

You clearly have a fictionalized idea of cults. I'm not talking about stupid ARG shit to rope in teenagers, I'm talking legitimate personality cult where you go 'recruitment -> group of interested members -> retreats -> core group of devoted members -> permanent commune/ashram with you at the top'. You'll have to present yourself as a legitimate spiritual organization -a wordpress blog isn't gonna cut it.

I didn't say anything to the contrary, nor did I say anything about 'revealing all the secrets on the surface web'; you need to work on your reading comprehension, chief.

Has there been any successful cults that been started online? Also every cult is based off something that isn't that crazy. You can't just throw insane shit at the reader expect people to just go with it. I mean, that one cooky cult in Ukraine originally started as a hiking group.
I really doubt people will be interested by this thing. Make it an ARG or something for people to talk about. Or something so fucking absurd like TimeCube. It just seems bland

Anons, I may have found a crossover thread over on halfchan:

The saturn cult seems to be THE cult to end all cults.

I've checked OP's cult and I'll save your time:
They use the hush hush technique to intrigue people and make you think there is something to it, then very other month the faggot reveals that it was all a "social experiment"(LARP).
He also makes a ton of testaments and samefagging to make it look real.
