I want to develop my woefully underused intuition. I keep pulling tarot cards indicating that most of my problems come from me straight up failing to use this part of myself. The problem is that when I actively start trying to be more aware, the doubting part of my mind comes in and fucks everything up. How do I know when I am listening to my "inner voice", and not just my ego? Over the past few days there have been instances where I thought I heard it, but they were pretty mundane instances involving daily life, and could very easily have be confirmation bias.

If you dismiss everything as confirmation bias you will never see evidence of your intuition working. Just use the scientific method to see what your intuition can do and develop that.

Meditation may help with that.

Yeah, you should meditate, opening your chakras and your third eye should help.
This is the most staightforward instruction on it:

The chakras on your head typically help most with intuition and meditating on all of them consistently helps with overall wellbeing.
