I'd like to know if it is possible to break a soul bond, I don't really know where to look for information, I'm not talking about soul mates or destiny, I'm talking about the connection two souls can have with each other. I have a close friend who dated a wiccan, she used to do weird blood magic and told him that there was a man that would always come before him, something she served/worshiped. He struggles with belief in the supernatural, but we have both seen impacts from her on his life long after they have separated.
I'm still in the very beginning stages of all of this, I've only been able to leave my body a few times, but I can feel the strong empath connections I have with people, I'm wondering if it is possible to sever these connections permanently, and how one could go about doing it.

No, and I mean no to a lot of stuff that has been posted in this thread. Here's a quick rundown on how it works. You don't just have a soul; you are a soul. It is eternal. Your body is just a meat vehicle, albeit one that we become very attached to and identify with; it is our vessel, our home, for this particular journey in the physical world. Where we start in this particular journey, what we plan to do and accomplish, and who we intend to spend our time with, is something we decide on before (insofar as a concept of linear time even has meaning in this context) we come here. Our journey is a learning experience, and our decisions in life are somewhat ephemeral (we can make mistakes and bounce back from them) but also have meaningful impact (we can chose to change our path for this journey, and if there were no consequences for actions, our choices would have no meaning). We forget who we are, for the most part, at the beginning of each journey (some people remember a bit, or gain knowledge during the journey) and this makes life seem real and meaningful, and gets us involved in the experience. So… as far as a "bond"…. this just means that two souls may have chosen to (re)incarnate together, or share certain experiences (some people believe "family groups" souls have a tendency to incarnate together, sharing experiences and swapping roles each time). It's not like a "spell" or "binding" that gives someone "influence"… if your friend gives weight to the influences of another, it is his choice, even if he does not know it.
