If it was the good kind of Fae I probably would, but I'd first tell myself it probably isn't the good kind. Most folktales are some fucked up shit. You may know that the swastika is very old, and that its use dates back to prehistoric times, but did you know that the cross was a religious symbol long before Christianity?
According to some accounts, sun wheels (iron crosses inside circles) are feared by fairies and other subterraneans, but assuming this was true, that wouldn't necessarily mean that Christianity is the 'true religion.' Maybe it's because it reminds them of the sun, or who knows what else.

It is only for those close to death due to starvation who come to know the fairies and their kindness. I've eaten had the luxury of enjoying the food in their realm twice. They are expert craftsmen when it comes to preparing food, as both times they were deserts but the flavours and the textures of the food were different from anything I have ever eaten, as if carefully prepared with exact excellence in mind.
The reason why you do not return however, is because if you starve to death, and if you are a nice and kind person, they may adopt you. But then you have to learn everything there is to know about looking after others in desperate need.
