I never really cared for Crowley's books. Which one do you think is his best, or most important/useful? I think they were too advanced/poetic for me the first time I read them so I'll reread them later on.

There are so many books to read. On these pictures that have been posted for years, I've only read less than half of them, yet I've must've read well over one hundred related books by now. I own a few in paperback but haven't got to them yet, such as both Books of the Dead. I thought The Hunt for Zero Point was overrated. Psychic Self Defense has always been recommended but I could never find it and I don't want to pay for a Scribd account.

Wonder why someone chose Devil as essential. It was interesting but I didn't think it was that good. I would swap that out for something like Grave Encounters or Tunnels.
There used to be a long movie thread but it got bumped to 404 I see. We talked about movies like The VVitch and A Dark Song. I recently watched Errementari, and I thought it was entertaining.

This list is pretty old though, from like 2014 I think so thats why Witch isnt on it.
I actually didnt care for it even though Im a sucker for Puritan America as a historical period and the setting, but it just felt bland to me. Midsommar and Hereditary were much creepier

I always forget about Troll Hunter. That was a good movie that took found footage and made it more mystery than horror.
Have you ever watched a television show called Night Visions? I just remembered about it a while ago because I remembered seeing one episode on television when I was a young teenager. I had to look up the episode's plot just to find the name of the show. You can watch it on YouTube since it was never released elsewhere.
