Does anyone remember an incident from around 2010-2012? It was possibly an attempt to start an ARG, though it was odd in that only one random college student was contacted. Unfortunately the details are a bit fuzzy but I believe the gist of it was said random college student receives a packet of bizarre documents and letters in the mail from a sender she had never met before. I believe the documents themselves were of an occult, even Lovecraftian nature. I swore I read a write-up of the situation somewhere but for the life of me I cannot remember where.

I remember something on x a few years ago, but it might of been screencaps from an older thread. Was about explorations of pyramids in antarctica. Anon said he was a robotics engineer and was in charge of an exploration ROV. I remember stuff about dangerous memetic hieroglyphs, people getting ancient tomb disease, and at the center of the tomb they found a dead giant on the throne in armor, and he had rod in his hand that was some sort of advanced tech. Anon said he tinkering with some of the tech he found, and his robot starting going insane. Anon also said there was a bunch of other things he couldn't say.
