Browsing through the catalog and a reading through a dozen threads I can't help but notice the same repeating patern of christcuckery mocking everything and anything that doesn't conform to le christ the saviour and the christian god.

Is it just one insane faggot doing this shit or is the entire board compromised?

Mewch died a while back, their /yard/ (Faith and Spirituality) and /fringe/ (Fringe Magick) boards came here. Adding to that maybe half the christposting is one Catholic arguing with someone who keeps throwing the Problem of Evil at him over and over again. Problem-of-Evil guy revealed himself as a goddess-neopagan in a previous post about succubi which means using the Problem like that is just asking to get smacked down hard.

Hi. Well, it's difficult for anyone dabbling in the occult to admit they aren't thereby "asking to get smacked down hard" when they are forced to admit whatever forces they are messing with aren't God, and thus, are not divine in the first place.

Some have asked me "well, why are you here", and it's not only my pseudo-autistic need to rebuke all anti-Christians, but /x/ is a neutral-ground compared to /fringe/, and I see much good possible for at least giving a cogent Christian/Catholic position on paranormal activity.

It's not just this board. I've been seeing the christcucks spread over multiple boards. I can just envision some church group-movement to create a CIDF to shit over 8chan for "social justice" or some other ego-driven delusion of "beating the nazis" like school system taught them instead of teaching them to get a job.

I used to be on /fringe/ before I went on /christian/. Perhaps, people are awakening from the dark of the occult and awakening to the light of Christ? /pol/ and /fringe/ were much stronger back in the day, what you are seeing are people finding the fallacies of paganism and turning to the strong light of Christ.

I would be surprised if a board dealing with the paranormal didn't attract a certain number of religious zealots trying to save people's souls. It's probably just a few posters, but since the board is small, and they're so prolific, it's easy to notice a "repeating pattern."

You should have posted this in the meta thread, by the way.

Ban religion from a paranormal board? I suppose you'll be okay with banning Gnosticism, Odinism, Wicca, and Thelema. Why stop at religion? Why not ban all the cipher posts and ARGs that crop up on /x/ from time to time? Why not ban anyone who advertises their honeypot channel or other imageboards? Why not ban all larp? Why not ban conspiracy theories that have nothing to do with the paranormal? Why not ban any off-topic discussion such as bashing the religious beliefs and political ideology of other anons on /x/? Then the few of us who didn't get banned can sit around and wonder where everyone went.

Religion, as a belief system that incorporates the supernatural into itself, and claims to provide an explanation to some of the phenomena we discuss here, has its place on /x/, and I think it'd be unreasonable to put it on the same level as politics. Both subjects have the potential to disrupt normal board activities due to their highly polarizing nature, but only one of them is completely alien to board culture. Basically, if religious proselytism became a serious issue, actions might be taken against it, but we'll never get to the point where people aren't allowed to have religious debates on /x/.

It's a legitimate objection, but I think it misses the point. It's one thing to discuss a conspiracy that happens to have a political element to it, and it's quite another to insert politics into a topic that doesn't warrant it, or turn a conspiracy thread into your personal soapbox in order to further some political agenda. Take the NWO for example: an /x/phile might ask if the people in power are actually being controlled by ultradimensional reptilians feeding off our negative feelings, while a /pol/ack will just take the opportunity to rant about Zionism.

Politics will always be /x/ related. There are shills trying to de-meme-magic /x/ and /pol/ away from each other because the bad guys believe this will take away all their power total fake bullshit but we should do the exact opposite if it's what "they" want and allow free discussion. The problem isn't that all threads will become a political shitstorm, the problem is how we handle those discussions. We have to accept the fact that we're not always going to agree and be civilized about it instead of filling entire threads with angry yelling, and only then can we have the free speech to discuss any /x/ related topic, even if it's politically related. making political paranormal or anything /x/ related discussion illegal is a huge hamper on what can be talked about here or on /pol/ since the boards are connected and do effect each other. It's time to be more open

You're missing the point just a little bit too. It seems that any mention of something remotely political gets the finger wag and a deleted post or a temp ban or something. It's too extreme and doesn't allow any good discussion where it should exist. You have to also realize that these people going on giant rants about zionism are paid shills who's job it is to disrupt discussion here on /x/ or on /pol/ in similar ways to create chaos and trouble so that there is a justification to shut it down. Same exact tactic used with the gun control argument. They create these foxtrot foxtrots FF'S and then they use those terrible events where they brainwashed some poor psychopath to commit some terrible crime to justify trying to take everyones guns away. I'm so sure I'm very unfairly and unjustifiably going to get a finger wag for bringing this up, but it's the perfect example of what is going on right here right now and damn it I have to tell the truth or we are never going to figure this out. The fact that this post is going to get yelled at for bringing any politics into it or even deleted is instant proof to me that the truth itself is being attacked with the excuse of it being "political and thus not allowed". I hope that's not the case. censorship is the worst possible thing that could happen because it crushes peoples ability to solve problems since they can't talk about them and anything can be considered wrong think for any reason at any moment.

It's a mix of trolls and OP shilling. The trolls are from some "templar" honeypot channel iirc and were responsible for spamming and derailing the absolute mess out of mewch boards before the site died.

As for the astroturfing and false flag shilling, this might go all the way back to the succubus thread. After some anons from the succubus thread warned OP that it could go wrong, some guy started ranting about how could a good god exist in a world where bad things happen. First a catholic, then a protestant, then I got wrapped up in that argument until the guy who started that rant tried to back out of the problem of evil and shift the argument to something more on-topic before finally outing himself as a Lilith worshipper.

Later, some doomsday thread, possibly a troll or succubus-anon astroturfing, cropped up. The same exact style of rant as in the succubus thread was posted, again catholic anon took what was, in hindsight, bait. I jumped in to ask the ranting shill how if we come to the conclusion he wants that good could exist, outed him as succubus-anon, and told him that the sacred feminine would be subject to his own logic if he took the atheism cop-out. He's never heard from again, but then this thread appears as if on cue.

Fast forward to another thread where a Dianic witch (or warlock? Might be succubus-anon again) posted about Aradia. I shamefully took that bait, and when he stopped responding this thread was bumped. Some time after three "PRAISE JESUS" messages were posted to a random thread just in time for this to get bumped again. I comment on it, and all three spam messages get removed.

In all likelihood, OP or one of the people bumping this might be succubus-anon salty about being told the divine feminine is subject to the problem of evil as much as the abrahamic God.

The "problem of evil" isn't at all a problem for Christianity. The gospel is pretty explicit about where evil comes from, and it's impossible to prove that there isn't a loving and good reason for allowing evil to exist, ergo God's benevolence isn't incompatible with the existence of evil, ergo the problem of evil is a shit argument for retards.

Except you're dealing with people who outright deny the gospel's explanation of evil because they either don't believe in the supernatural or they do but they believe in an alternate cosmology where the devil and his fallen angels are the good guys. Like you said though, it's not a problem for Christianity. It's not a problem for atheists because they don't even believe in any outside forces influencing the world, and everything's just how the cookie crumbles. It is, however, a problem for shills who use that logic to convince you that Christianity can't be correct while simultaneously believing in some other form of monotheism that doesn't explain evil. When one such shill had the problem of evil turned against his own beliefs this thread conveniently showed up, and continues to be bumped every time the same shill provokes a religious argument or coincides with obvious trolls spamming PRAISE JESUS in all caps.

>It's a Christian charity thing. The truth of Christ is a beautiful gift, and so should be proclaimed to all, even to the shit-eating monkey that is the average occultist.

The Problem of Evil is very simple to solve. Evil is an implication (a statement made by the enemy of Good) but it is ontologically impossible for evil to exist since evil is defined as the state of non-existence. Non-existence requires the existence of existence in order to be implied, thus non-existence can never be.

TL:DR existence and non-existence cannot co-exist. Or put even simpler, non-existence cannot be since non-existence is the implication of non-being.

Nonetheless, the implication of non-existence (i.e. the proposition that non-existence can be) is enough to put the frighteners on semi-intellectuals and fool non-intellectuals who nonetheless imagine that they're intellectuals despite their lack of understanding of basic propositional logic and ontology.

Good (God) on the other hand exists, because Good IS existence. All things which exist are held together by the Good (+). This obviously includes 'words', like this one: "w+o+r+d"

This aside, a thing which tends towards evil (-) can exist, since what is implied by this is that a thing is in the process of being dismembered/destroyed (it's 'parts' are being subtracted (-) from one another. That thing can never achieve a state of total destruction however. + will always triumph over - since - has no way to define itself in the absence of +. It would simply be broken down into smaller and smaller parts, becoming less and less ordered (more chaotic) while remaining ordered nonetheless. Did you ever hear the one about infinities within infinities anons?

So there you have it. Evil is just an idea… it is a part of an implication which cannot be proven to be True. In other words, the implication that evil can be True is a lie. Truth, on the other hand, must exist, since I'm writing words and you can read them.

TL:DR… + will always triumph over - (or | ) † † † IC XC NIKA † † †

You're welcome and go(o)dnight.

p.s. the experience/process of being repeatedly dismembered for eternity is known in short-hand as "hell", and is the present and future experience of anyone who actually doesn't believe in Good (+), or Love by one of His other names. It's an experience most of you understand and are working towards achieving on a permanent basis. Or, you know… you could repent and return to the One.
