Why was the site created? Was it because of all those cringeworthy SPC's that mods refused to delete? (tranny planets, living fursuits etc.)

I just read three random ones. RPC-693 is a parasite that replaces your skeleton, pretty boring. RPC-030 was much cooler, a spooky gas cave that causes cancer like symptoms. Both tipped over into stupidity with zombified patients using bone protrusions as ersatz claws which just felt too video gamey to me. I guess they were written by the same guy. Sometimes less is more.
RPC-300 was much simpler and my favorite so far. It's a jellyfish that provokes a sympathetic pressure response in subjects. I like the idea of a toxin that feels like pressure weighing down on your skull, that's a very scary idea.

I'm not against god-like SPC's/RPC's by default but that was pretty bad. There's nothing clever about meta-textual nonsense. There's also some poor attempts at humor that just feel entirely out of place. I think if you don't want to write within the boundaries given to you then you should just write your own stuff.
