i.e. "snuff films have never been done before" a la socialism

To my knowledge, a snuff film is someone dying live, unscripted, on camera. There are plenty of examples available throughout history.

>Tommy Cooper giving the crowd their last laugh

>Budd Dwyer blowing his brains out

>Ayrton Senna slamming 190 MPH into Tamburello

>Bjork stalker ending it all

>Motherfucking 9/11

>That old Indian business dude suddenly going on the trip to the Ganges

>Mitsuharu Misawa's neck taking that final straw

Yet every time these examples and many more are brought up, they're somehow not snuff films. So what does something have to be in order to classify as snuff? Must it be something professionally directed and presented as a film, rather than real life?

Snuff is a videotaping of a person being executed for the sexual pleasure of the viewer.

Wrong. Snuff is just a synonym for killing someone. e.g. snuff out their life. Any video of someone dying is a snuff film.

No snuff films are intentionally produced movies where people die. Like that Peter Scully dude.

It's only considered snuff film if it's made for profit. A race car crash where the driver died isn't a snuff film as it wasn't the intent of the broadcast to show a death on screen.

Generally, snuff films are pornographic as well.

If i remember correctly, those are called "mondo movies". And the difference is that they are not made for profit (?) i might be wrong though.

The idea is that the film is made for the purposes of being sold, like pornography. Random gore clips that make it onto the internet don't count. I think they have found actual snuff in the past though.

Would ISIS execution videos be considered snuff films? I suppose at the core they're more like propaganda, but if you have a fetish for watching people die you can't really go wrong. They are very well produced.

no, pleb, it wouldn't.

None of those examples are snuff films. Snuff films are created specifically for someone to die on camera.

Anon X filming himself chopping up a bound and gagged Anon Y with an axe is a snuff film. A car accident in someone's travel vlog where someone dies is not a snuff film.

There are plenty of those out there, and yet aren't considered snuff films, so "murder on film" isn't enough on its own.

I think >>51100 said it the best. Snuff movies are films that appear normal on the surface, but have some grim secrets lying beneath the acetate. Cannibal Holocaust would have been this if the footage was real, as would The Crow if they'd kept the fatal shot in.

So you're saying "3 guys 1 hammer" is not a snuff film? Can you provide an example of a snuff film that fits your definition? Because I can't think of any…

There are things out there worse than snuff films, like Daisy's Destruction the baby raping video that Peter Skully made… I would personally rather watch someone getting murdered than to see that

Supposedly, yes, although the video seems to have disappeared from the web and any physical copy was burned even before the trial started, so there's no evidence that any of it actually happened.

P.s.: It came from the Philippines and the author was an Australian man.

While it did burn in the evidence room, it is still online. The guy who got caught running the deepweb pedo forum hurt2thecore had a copy he used to attract members. The video is still floating the web around along with screen shots. You can actually find the opening scene on youtube (it cuts out before anything illegal)

It did exist and it still exists. This is well documented.

Obviously I haven't seen it, but there are youtube videos covering the main points along with interviews with the agencies who watched it many times and caught the guy. The main point of it is they torture and rape 3 kids, one being 18 months old. I keep up with pedos getting caught on the dark web so I can learn more about opsec, avoiding authorities, how not to get busted etc. If you want to be anonymous online, you should be using the same software and configs that pedos and terrorists use.

Also I was trying to help with pizzagate investigation, I wasn't much help but my research led me to learn about these other pedos and what they had done. I thought watching the authorities explain how they busted them could maybe help with busting alafantis and the podesta brothers. I think you can learn a lot.

there was a snuff film randomly spliced in a movie I downloaded from pirate bay in 2012. It was No Country for Old Men, I think it was around the part where one of the characters is putting something in a vent in a hotel room. I cant remember the scene really because Ive only seen the movie once after deleting this and watching a DVD I got at a redbox later.

The scene just randomly started, it was someone being held down on the floor and stabbed over and over. I was watching on a laptop while laying in bed. it scared the shit out of me and I deleted the file and the torrent, my heart was pounding for some reason.

I'd say it's a snuff film if it involves a person fliming for the express purpose of capturing the death of someone intended to die.
