I'll start with something obvious and stupid just to get the thread rolling. You can even just ignore the first one if you like, the others are far more interesting.

Seems like every year this same old shitty gimmick comes back with a new name duct taped onto it. Why does a diet that works so well need to be constantly re-named and re-branded over and over again? Unless people try it out and get some temporary short-term weightloss and then suddenly just gain it all back again plus extra with a side of some kidney and liver problems, I don't know why the hell it would be necessary to desperately scramble to be forgotten as quickly as possible literally Every. Single. Fucking. Year. and then hurry to re-name the whole fucking thing and throw it out into the public again and scream "WEEEEEEEEEEW NEW FAD DIET BRUHHHHHHHHHHHHHS THIS IS THE NEW SHIT! DEFINITELY BETTER THAN LAST YEARS SHIT BRUHHHHHHHH!" and watch every fucking dumbass stacy, chad, and desperate walking hamplanet landwhale fatty mcbutterpants FAT FUCKING FUCK jump back on the retard bandwagon yet again for the 10th fucking time to try and become the flawless image the magazines and celebrities constantly shove down their throats. How many fucking times will they come out with a new name for the same old SHIT? How many fucking times will retards fall for it? I know the fucking answer. Forever, right?

If it works so god damned well, then why do they take it down and put it back up again over and over? I swear it's like when they come out with some shit on t.v. and try to sell it for a hundred bucks and then take it down off the shelf and put it in a new box and sell it to me a couple years later for ten dollars.

What the hell have you noticed that you don't think anyone else has noticed?

Where do animals go in a storm?

If we are born and our cells divide and multiply and make more and more mistakes until we "age" and get old and die, how are there any bacteria or plants left alive in the world today if they are all copies or offspring of all the plants and bacteria before them? What is it about reproduction that resets cell age back to "young/healthy" and how does that blueprint for young and healthy cells state of being survive and live on to the next generation of life? Bacteria should be old as fuck by now, and their genetic information should have deteriorated billions of years ago, Unless new bacteria is constantly being created and re-seeded into earth by an unknown source, or the earth is actually much younger than we are told.

If the earth has 7 billion people living in it, where are they all buried and being buried? How is it possible that 100% of all our land on earth isn't just all gated cemeteries? Even if 90% of all bodies are cremated, the remaining 10% of all bodies on earth should still be creating a crisis of massive proportions as every single cemetery is booked "FULL" and several others are opened in a rush to bury everyone else. There should be massive piles of bodies everywhere and every country on earth should be in a state of emergency as they are unable to get rid of them all, and yet everything seems calm like nothing is really happening. Even if every cemetery is double or triple burying all bodies in the same grave, this should still be an issue, but for some reason it isn't.

Airplanes are these huge fucking things made out of metal. How do they stay up? Ships are also made out of thousands of tons of steel, how the fuck do they float? I can throw a tiny little pebble in a river and it sinks instantly, but this HUGE fucking ship made of steel floats.

How does the water know the boat is hollow and full of air on the other side of the hull? Just because the water outside knows air is inside, the boat now can float? What?

>airplanes

Planes don't float. They are constantly falling, at all points during flight. Flying is falling. However, they have a great amount of lift and speed generated by the engines, and this energy converts their velocity towards the Earth into sideways velocity; they constantly fall, but move laterally at such a rate that they are actually moving away from the Earth at the same time, and the result is an orbital path. No flying object moves straight in a horizontal direction, gravity dictates that such a thing is not physically possible. You can observe this also in the trajectory of gunshots; in order to hit a target at a longer distance, it is necessary to aim higher away from the curvature of the Earth, taking advantage of centripetal force to prevent the bullet from being pulled down to the ground prematurely.

>hollow thing floats

Density, nigger. The hollow thing weighs extremely little because it is filled with air, despite its total mass. The solid object has less mass but has much more weight because it is denser, thus it is less buoyant. This is true for all types of objects at all scales. Boats aren't magically different. Are you shitposting or actually this stupid?

>How in the world does the water outside the boat know that the inside of the boat is hollow and therefor has low density in comparison to the water?

It's not that complicated. When you toss something into the water, gravity drags it down and water pushes against that object in all directions. When object is just getting submerged, water pushes against it upwards with net force. Pushes on the left and right sides of the object cancel each other out, so only the upwards push remains.. If object you throw into the water weights less than the amount of water it displaces, water's push will be strong enough to contract gravity's pull and make the object float.

Floating object does not have to be hollow on the inside. Ice, oil, styrofoam, and certain wood types all float because they are less dense than water despite not being hollow. You could make a non-hollow ship out of all of those and it would still float. That's also why so many fish and marine mammals have a lot of fat. It keeps them from sinking among other things.

Not ONE company makes high quality hard plastic earphones anymore

It just seems like nobody took into account that some people PREFER non rubber earphones

The Law of Angular Momentum Conservation is what allows a magnet to be broken in half, giving you two smaller magnets instead of one north piece and one south piece. Electromagnetic waves is how magnets can pick up on one other at a distance, by emanating this magnetic field out and in in a loop, which can create electromagnetic bonding to lure in other objects. Note here that ferromagnetism is important for this bonding, as water too is a polar molecule but it is not considered magnetic. Magnets with more mass/energy make the effect stronger, much like electricity gets stronger with energy and gravity gets stronger with mass. Electrical energy is also used to align the polarity of molecules to create a magnet.

Is this a huge fucking troll?

The case has always been the opposite in my experience. No matter how hard I push plastic shits in or what angle I use to push them in I can feel them slip while using my MP3 player at the gym before they eventually, inevitably fall out of my ear entirely, usually within 5 minutes. Because they are molded to a "general" earlobe shape which my ear does not match. And even when they magically stick inside my ear, after 5 - 10 minutes the plastic usually hurts like hell because it's a solid material being pushed against your person. And the audio quality is always muffled and tinny as fuck, and I've used cheapos alongside name-branded Samsung and Philips examples.

Rubber ones on the other hand go inside my ear canal like a glove, and not to be disgusting, but earwax helps to seal it in place. The only way it's ever coming out is if you yank on the cord. And when it's in that's it, I can start to forget about the fact they're even in my ear to begin with, and it sounds like the music is being played directly inside my brain.

because sometimes its easier to buy a new fridge than to try to repair an old broken one.

the main problem is disposing of old 'aged' cells in such a way that the new cells replace them in a way which is proper to the functioning of the organism.

maybe there is some hope with new lab grown organs from stem cells, but transplants are messy, and the technology isnt quite there yet. not to mention the brain is a real bottleneck to the whole situation, and you cant exactly transplant a brain.

you are better off just staying healthy, protecting what you have got, and giving your body the nutrients it requires to self regulate.

Nobody salts pools, they add chlorine as a disinfectant. Although, if you want to be TECHNICAL, if you're adding powder to the pool as most homeowners will do because of convenience, it's calcium hypochlorite; that is, chemically speaking, a "salt".

Either way, the reasoning is the same. Sunlight (UV light) breaks the chemical bonds of the chlorites, freeing the chlorine into a gas which then simply evaporates. Saying it's odd that you need to add more chlorine to a pool from time to time is exactly like saying it's odd that you need to add more water to it.
