I'm not a fucking schizo. I post my stories on halfchan and everyone says I'm lying or insane. It's true, I hear it every night for God's sake.

Tapping on my bathroom window. Constantly. Every. Night.

I go to look, the sound disappears. I go back to trying to sleep, it comes back again. At day time there's a shadow looming in my bathroom. I haven't used it for ages. I even shit outside, I don't take chances.

I can even see my window from my bed. I moved my bed to face the other side of my room, but my head always turns to look to the window. I can't see anything in it, but it's like I can see the tapping on the window.

It's driving me insane.

Clean your floors, walls, windows, ceiling, and organize because your place looks like shit, then burn some sage and light a cedar or sandalwood candle because it smells like shit, then use your bathroom because your yard is full of shit.

Now try working out in your bedroom and playing loud music. No pain no gains. Eat some garlic and onion before and after you workout then drink some hotsauce. Do the same thing before you go to sleep and your smelly odor will scare the demons away.

So you've scrubbed your room/bathroom of any old "energies", replaced them with good ones and then your own personal mark of sweat, BO, and piss/shit, "disrupted the energies" with your physical activity and music whilst replacing them with new vital ones, and used extremely cleansing and vitalizing foods/sauces, one of which is meant to deter vampires. Congratulations. You are Bad-JUJU Free. Now hang some posters up or get some fucking house decor mf.

OP here. Update on the situation. The tapping hasn't gone away yet.

I checked around the back of my apartment. It's mostly empty woods, but I know there was an empty building there. The tapping wouldn't stop tonight, so I gathered my courage and went to investigate. I left and took a picture of the building from afar. It doesn't have a door, but the entire building is intact. I am too scared to enter.

I think something lives there.

I remember a story from the UK, where this woman thought her house was haunted, and after several strange experiences, I think she even called a priest to perform an exorcism, she was so spooked that she called the police. They found two(?) youths hiding in her attic; turns out they had been living up there for a while, and they were of course responsible for the haunting.

TL;DR: Check your attic and basement for anyone hiding/living there.

OP here. Sorry if I am not able to respond to everyone or if I post infrequently. There is a lot going on right now, I will try and answer some questions. Before that, I have to report that I found something here. The previous (owners?) left something here. There's a mirror, a picture, and some kind of animal figure. I will post pictures of them after I investigated.

>>43568

I don't think that is it. It's extremely unlikely, I am awake most of the night and the entrance to my attic makes a loud noise when it opens.

>>43569

Its like an empty version my apartment. It doesn't have a door and seems to be quite old, I can't make it out from a distance but I think it's unfurnished as well. I tried coming close to it to check it out a few times but there's something wrong with it, I don't want to investigate it further

>>43572

>>43539

Yes I tried to take a picture but it wouldn't show up on the camera. I tried to take several but it was completely gone. The first picture is my attempt. The shadow is more of a dim shade over the entire bathroom, even with the amount of light shining through the window the bathroom remains unusually dark. The same goes for the tapping, except it would stop right after I pull out my phone.

>>43584

I think it's too consistent to be insects. And the tapping is more like tapping of shoes on the pavement, like someone is tap-dancing outside. It is hard to describe.

>>43586

I dont where they are anymore. I posted them a while after getting the apartment.

I dunno, that window looks tiny, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't illuminate the whole room.

OP here, again. I went into the attic and got the mirror and painting which I found interesting. There was also a figurine of a hippo but it didn't strike me as special.

The painting probably creeped me out the most. The wooden frame is old and cracked, but the picture itself is in perfect condition. There's a signature at the bottom right but I can't make out what the name is. I swear the girl fucking looked at me right after I took the picture, but it's probably my imagination. I'm either keeping it in the attic or burning it.

Second is the mirror, for some reason every picture I took of it is really blurry no matter how still I held my phone. I've kept this mirror in my room for a while after moving in (You can see it in the second picture of my original post) and haven't noticed anything odd about it, but there's this weird fucking black spot in the photo. It's only there when I take the photo. I think I'm taking the mirror down.

The practice of using orgasms isn't strictly sex magic, which may sound odd, but the specific example I used beimg chaos magic isnt sex magic but can have obligations of it. The act of using an orgasm to spark or strengthen a sigil or spell isn't considered sex magic and is different from sex magic. Using orgasms for the purposes I mentioned above isn't about sex but the energy behind it. You could direct a great deal of rage or happiness or whatever form of energy you'd like and it'd have the same effect, it's just that orgasms are much easier to invoke upon will. Sex magic has a much different purpose and mindset

Gave it a read, very enjoyable. Appealed to the textile obsessive inside me. That reveal is genuinely quite creepy, the long haired ghost reminded me a lot of The Ring. I thought the twist was going to be that the curtains were actually made of human hair but that might of been a bit of a stretch.

Quite so! Could be the same thing messing with OP; just trying to freak him out and be a mild nuisance. If he lets it go on unchecked it could start causing real problems though. Push him off his PC chair and the toilet maybe.

>There's a video of Karl actually going there if you haven't seen it already (embedded, skip to 1:15).

I found that a while back, after having heard him mention it on the show. Pretty creepy stuff. I do not envy his mate who has to look after that place. Could be a gathering place for drug addicts and homeless people and what not.

FUG! I wish we could have a show with Karl visiting haunted locations (and spending the night), and just looking into paranormal phenomena.

>Really made me wonder what sort of friend Karl has that would live in a place like that.

Yeah, and that’s not even his weirest mate – remember the friend who lives underground?

Weird that, innit?

>Gave it a read, very enjoyable. Appealed to the textile obsessive inside me.

Swell! I think it is one of his more underrated stories – most people seem to prefer Canon Albric’s Scrap-Book, which feature a similar scene where the protagonist discovers something hairy and horrific next to his hand. I really dig the idea that it is the pattern which causes the horror, and not the original fabric. That makes it so much more creepy – just by replicating this pattern you would endanger yourself. The scene where he wakes up and thinks the tapestry is moving is very similar to HPL’s The Rats in the Walls. James is better at delivering a horrific climax in his stories though.

I actually like the idea that the curtains would be made out of human hair. There is something about that idea that sounds really eerie, just imagine what would be behind that curtain of hair.

I'd love a docu-series like that. Each episode is a different phenomena, Karl goes to talk to some experts/witnesses, then actually goes and checks it out.

>Yeah, and that’s not even his weirest mate – remember the friend who lives underground?

Karl's whole life before he met Suzanne is like a Roald Dahl book, so many weird people and events.

>I really dig the idea that it is the pattern which causes the horror, and not the original fabric.

Yeah, a bit like tales where just invoking a name is enough for something to manifest.

>The scene where he wakes up and thinks the tapestry is moving is very similar to HPL’s The Rats in the Walls.

Or The Fall of the House of Usher where Roderick is hyper-sensitive to every little sound and movement.

>I actually like the idea that the curtains would be made out of human hair. There is something about that idea that sounds really eerie, just imagine what would be behind that curtain of hair.

I think it's the fact that hair is somewhere between a living thing and dead material that makes it unnerving. Might just write a short story like that.

Absolutely! That would be amazing; I would watch the Hell outta that. You can really tell that he has a genuine interest in the paranormal, so he approaches everything with genuine interest unlike some smarmy psychic or a condescending sceptic.

Tony Robinson had a show like that some years ago, but Karl would be the perfect host for that kind of show.

>Karl's whole life before he met Suzanne is like a Roald Dahl book, so many weird people and events.

Exactly! I remember one time he mentioned how his mam told him not to tell anyone they were non-religious to avoid trouble with witches. Also, he mentioned one woman in the neighbourhood who was a witch more than once, I think. That made me think of Dahl’s The Witches.

>Yeah, a bit like tales where just invoking a name is enough for something to manifest.

Quite so! That fits perfectly with what M. R. James said about ghost-stories, that they must “put the reader into the position of saying to himself, ‘If I’m not very careful, something of this kind may happened to me!’”.

>Or The Fall of the House of Usher where Roderick is hyper-sensitive to every little sound and movement.

I must admit that I have not read that story… I have seen the film by Roger Corman starring Vincent Price though. I absolutely love Corman & Vincent’s Poe films.

>I think it's the fact that hair is somewhere between a living thing and dead material that makes it unnerving. Might just write a short story like that.

It is especially eerie if it is not attached to a human head, just seeing long dark hair in a dark room sounds creepy. I think the Japs are more into the hairy side of horror than here in the West. I’ve been trying to write a ghost-story pastiche of James for a while now… Trying to complete one of the story fragments he came up with. I do want to explore some more modern horror story as well – I think there is a lot of untapped potential in horror related to modern technology; ‘Internet ghosts’, clips from eerie low res webcam streams, Skypecalls and emails coming from someone you know has passed away… Things like that.

i remember reading about something kinda like this on one of the other chans /x/ years ago. I don't remember if it was a creepypasta or someone talking about an experience they had, but the story had to do with three female ghosts or spirits etc who make sounds outside the window at night, one laughs, one taps on the window, one cries. The gist of the thread was that if you hear noises like this do /not/ look out the window during the event. I'll look into it and see if i can find it archived or mentioned anywhere

The "tapping" in your window might be a harmonic vibration causing it to wobble inside the frame producing a rattling sound. I used to have a window that would do this every time the drier (on the other side of the house, mind you) was run; also, in my current apartment sometimes a wall rattles against a shelving unit whenever the guy on the other side of the wall runs the bathroom fan. In this case, it's even more bizarre because the sound propagates directionally, so it can only be hear if your ears are in certain places of the room (and unluckily for me one of those places happens to be right where my bed pillow is), and for example if I stand up I can't hear it anymore. This could be solved by just getting some paper or cloth and stuffing it between the glass of the window and the frame so it can't move at all.

Can't help you with the weird shadow.

Jan Broberg Felt was kidnapped and brainwashed to believe she had been abducted by aliens for a sacred mission and that her family would be killed if she ever fled. When she ran off anyway, she was kidnapped again.

Brenda Wright Lafferty and her daughter Erica were kidnapped and killed by Robert C. Crossfield's congregation after her brother-in-law showed the local church a written "removal revelation".

In 2008, a local domestic violence hotline received a call from a woman at the YFZ Ranch who was attempting to leave. It took a large SWAT team armed with snipers, helicopters, and an M113 transport to get her out. Several pedos were also caught in the ensuing raid. 500+ women and kids were also rescued from the compound.

Warren Jeffs managed to stay on the run from the FBI for two years after diddling his five-year-old nephew at a Salt Lake Valley LDS compound, landing on the FBI's Top Ten Most Wanted list. He and 20 other men in the complex were caught doing the exact same thing again in 2017, this time to a bunch of teenage girls.

Former bishop Sam Young was excommunicated for speaking out against child grooming missionaries.

Lastly, read everything on https://truthandtransparency.org/.

Lastly, if you yourself are a clueless Mormon missionary who doesn't know about any of this, you should probably *start packing now* because your computer is mission-issued and very likely monitored:

>"You should not use unauthorized electronic or video equipment. You are not authorized to have a personal computer. Do not use a computer except to communicate with

your family or your mission president (see “E-Mail,” p. 20). Your mission president may assign you to use a mission computer, or he may authorize you to use a computer for proselyting purposes (for example, to introduce nonmembers to family history). Computer or electronic games of any kind are not authorized." - Mormon Missionary Handbook, PDF Edition, page 26

You are clearly very irritated by this, OP. I have had very similar entities, yes, multiple at once, harass me. Scratches, objects thrown, knocking, rapping, voices, apparitions, doors slamming open/close, faucets turning on/off, etc. So don't think I don't have experience, or don't understand. I believe you. I would like to congratulate you first, though. Not everyone is capable of going in phase with the immaterial, and this is an achievement. Now, the first thing you need to do is to stop fearing it. I know it sounds impossible, but working with the immaterial means to be an artist and make paradox your medium. Some part of you is allowing you to be afraid, in fact, more likely, enjoys the adrenaline high from it. Meditation can help you find what part of you enjoys it and or is allowing it, which will enable you to make peace with that part of yourself. This is the fear barrier, one of the first tests of the magician. If you can break through it, you will find that fear will be replaced with curiosity and wonder.

>>43597

Mirrors are seen by many as a "window" into other realities. For those that cannot see ghosts/immaterial, digital cameras tend to pick things up they can't see but are there, as electricity and the Aether are very closely tied. taking down the mirror might be a good idea, as it could a "portal" of sorts.

>>49057

This anon is correct about mormons, can confirm. Do not engage with mormons, you might as well go ask some moloch worshipers for help.

>>44327

You would be implicitly agreeing to a demonic ass-raping or worse. Just, don't do it.

OP, I want you to do some things, as it would seem that I am the only one here both capable of and willing to help you. I imagine that painting is involved. DO NOT DAMAGE IT! Any action against this entity will likely see retaliation, so they must be done carefully. You have a lot of options here, but I want to go with the easiest one first, as it will likely be the most effective too. I want you to take a water bottle, fill it half with water and half with vinegar. Then, add some salt, but not too much. Enough that you can see it. Cap the bottle and place it near the window, or in/near the doorway to the bathroom. If the salt floats, you have a demon. You should call the Diocese of your local orthodox church and explain that you would like to report a demonic infestation. Explain you situation calmly, they will very likely send priests to perform a cleansing of the home. Just don't call mormons, evangelicals, protestants, or the catholics, they will not be able to help very well, if at all, and the mormons and catholics will both screw you over. If the salt turns black, at any point, you need to find a new home for the time being. Stay at a friends house/with family, even a hotel. Leave the home swiftly, and immediately. Do not attempt to collect belongings, your existence will be in peril. But, you still must not fear. Fear feeds them. Your denomination does not matter for any of this, and most especially this: if the salt turns black, as you leave the home, and until you leave, beg St. Joseph to safely see you through it, and to protect you.

However, if the salt just floats, a demon can be worked around until the priests/exorcists arrive. Place some wrought iron above all of your doors and windows, including closets. It is best if you can put iron on both sides of the door. A wrought iron cross, horseshoe or railroad spike are the most common. If you choose a horseshoe or spike, place them with the tips up, and center above the door/window/closet. You should also place salt along the tops of your doors, windows, and closets. You can also make a complete salt line along the perimeter of your room, on the floor. Iron typically keeps most evil entities away, so this should help you immensely. However, some entities are unaffected by iron, which is why I suggested the salt. In the case that it is a Fae, you should also place some mountain ash twigs bound by red string above the doors, windows and closet.

The closet may turn out to not need these protections, but not knowing whether or not it can enter through it, I would suggest it, if nothing else, just to be safe rather than sorry. And this is all on the assumption you have a closet, of course.

Even if the salt doesn't ever float, you can still call the Diocese and they will still likely be able to solve your problem. You could also try hanging a wrought iron cross in that bathroom, above the window.

Otherwise, good luck OP. I'll check in here every once in a while if you still need help or none of this works.

Almost forgot, be sure to tell the Diocese about the painting and mirror.

Forgot to mention, if the salt turns black, you still need to call the Diocese. Don't return until the exorcists/priests have cleansed the home and given the OK. At the very least, don't return without a priest/exorcist with you.

I swear I see these kinds of warnings and instructions in every "OP is being haunted" thread. What exactly does the salt turning black signify? Why pray to that particular saint for protection and not just go straight to the top and beg God to keep you safe?

Also since Mormons are being discussed in this thread, I'm ex-Mormon. Would be interested to know how having Missionaries come bless your home would screw you over. I never went on one myself because I didn't want to spend two years in South America. Having grown up in it until I was 16 and researched the more secretive parts later myself without actually experiencing them, the entire religion seems like a mishmash of Jewish and Masonic traditions in Christian wrapper. Inauthentic and unoriginal sure, but how is that spiritually/supernaturally dangerous?

Salt was always used to preserve food and used to be very valuable for that reason so it naturally came to be used as a supernatural ward. Folklore dictates that ghosts and mischievous spirits couldn't cross salt but could blow it away in roundabout ways. If the salt turns black, it's not a spirit, it's a demon, so book it. It's pretty normalfag folklore really. I'm pretty sure it was featured on Supernatural.

Anyway, it should have been easy for OP to make a video or recording of the sound by that point.
