Good morning /x/ hopefully your new years eve is going well,
A while back my mother died of several ailments that she had accrued over her lifetime, the military that I'm apart of sent me on emergency leave to deal with her personal belongings, as well as settle down financial disputes with the state and her home.
Going back to her house we had to sort through alot of her art stuff as she was a sculpter and painter, and as we were going through her house my sister and I found what appears to be my mother's book of shadows. My sister is super religious and said that it needs to be thrown in the trash. I kept it for myself, unbeknownst to my sister because this is apart of my mother's life and one thing I personally enjoy finding about.
I guess to summarize everything is I'm not familiar with anything about this, and I'm curious what exactly I'm holding and how it can be used or not used by me.
