/x/ something is the fuck up. Rodin would not say the statue has a clenched fist if it didn't. Golden Girls would not associate Ed Mcmahon with PCH for no reason. I SAW SHAZAAM WITH MY OWN EYES. People are noticing all kinds of changes. Before throwing ad hominems, please address the evidence and debunk it, because it truly appears that reality is altering.
Again, I am not convinced because it is so incredible . . . but these data must be addressed.

Did these people really just not see the statue properly . . . including Rodin? Including artists who attempted to emulate it? Artists surely look carefully at what they are studying.

The problem is that all your "evidence" is just "I don't remember it being like that". Look, it happens to everyone, okay? For me, Pikachu's tail is different from how it used to be. But I don't make a big deal out of it because I know that memory isn't perfect. You guys are jumping to conclusions.

I'm sorry, no. Not only have I clearly not made a single conclusion, but I am not the one making the wrong pose right in front of the statue. Nor am I Rodin, incorrectly describing his own statue. Please address the evidence, as none of the evidence I have provided is my own memories, as you stated.

Ed Mcmahon worked for a different sweepstakes publishing company called American Family Publishers. They did everything basically the same as PCH, which is why people with shit memory can't tell them apart.

I just came to bitch at rookies who still fixate on 'x was actually y' and then every damn time, pick the lowest hanging fruit. the slight errors the name changes, the spelling issues, those are all symptoms of a much greater issue.
everyone is willing to take the first step, but the second is never even mused over. let alone taken.
what about the deaths?
people who were dead that are now alive.
what about major shifts?
the size of continents, where is iceland? how big is new zealand?
then put it all together, slight changes, people that were gone coming back, and probably vice versa. changes in mass and location.
its almost as if everything became subjective.
now why would that be? after all, we're supposed to live in an object universe.

Here you go faggots, this slipped through the cracks. Now, unlike O '150 iq' P, I feel uniquely qualified to shed light on the phenomenon.
When I was around 19 years old, I was mad into motorcycles, specifically the naked 'Streetfighter' types. One day, I had an accident. Not just any accident, I was clocking around 140kph, lost control, and went into a concrete post, barbed wire fence. The kind that keep bulls from escaping & murder-raping the world.
My bike twisted around into the wire, and was completely destroyed. But I was fine. Not only was I fine, I was on my feet, a few dozen paces from my bike, completely unharmed, and instantly. No tumbling through the air, nothing. That was when I noticed things had "changed".
Ever hear those stories about people that suddenly flip their lids at a spouse or family member, "You're not my wife! You're an imposter!!"..? Like that. Lots of things seemed to change, subtly, almost impossible to put your finger on, but it is definitely different, somehow.
Which begs the question, what manner of bullet did the entire planet dodge to skip so far that entire names have changed, movies weren't made, et cetera? That's a big jump. Most forks would be inperceptible.

>What is a court of law
You're an idiot. I'm not even entertained by the mandella meme anymore, but you're an idiot. You claim that there's no evidence, then baldly declare a conclusion anyway. And what kind of evidence do you want retard, a body? The theory is that they're retaining memories from an alternate universe, what kind of evidence could there be of this other than memories? The whole theory is that the universe changed, the evidence of it being different in the other universe wouldn't exist in ours. Whether or not you find the evidence compelling doesn't change whether it is evidence or not, there's nothing more annoying than a nit-picking pedantic goon who doesn't even know what the fuck he's talking about when quibbles.

Nice butthurt. Still doesn't change the fact that memories are no evidence, because they cannot be displayed to someone else or otherwise objectively verified. It is impossible to discern whether a memory is an intentional lie/fabrication or not unless one uses a lie detector (which in turn are not perfect). But even then there is a case of false memories when your mind plays trick on you.
>The whole theory is that the universe changed, the evidence of it being different in the other universe wouldn't exist in ours.
Exactly: theory. And a theory requires evidence/facts to substantiate it. So far we have only "memories" of a bunch of people, usually even different among them (like for example person A remembers X but not Y, person B remembers Y but not X, person C remembers both). That coupled with the fact that most of those things people "remember" are… well, easy to remember incorrectly.
TL;DR Don't use the word "evidence" because you have none. Your memories are not evidence because no one can verify them.

So if thousands of people keep saying an remember the same thing it doesn't matter because it's a false memory and memories aren't verifiable and can't be used as fact. Then why do they use eye witnesses testimonies in court? Why do they send Nazi to death over the memory of a 96 yr old women? Clearly eye witnesses accounts and memories count. A million people didn't just fucking hallucinate this. And you can't rationalize it. You can't just throw some bullshit easy explanation at it to keep yourself protected inside your little bubble from the mysteries of reality. You can't live in lala land forever. Your stance on the issue doesn't make you look smart or wise. It makes you look dense and narrow-minded. Scientists that think like you are the reason we are still stuck on earth.

The only time this shit freaked me out was when I saw it happen before my very eyes. I was watching Apollo 13, he said "Houston we've had a problem" and I thought "that's odd, I thought the dialogue was different from the historical quote for dramatic movie purposes. I close my laptop, fall asleep, and when I open the laptop the next day the page was still there, it reloads on its own and I watch it over in a slight daze not really thinking what I'm doing, and there's the quote CHANGED from the night before.
Spooked me good, but I just assume this is more my own mind fucking with me. Reason I think this is I've seen that video of the man saying "Fa, Fa, Fa" and know the mind can literally change sounds based on visual stimuli.

>… what manner of bullet did the entire planet dodge …
The one where everyone is trapped in the dogma of ancient prophecies. Noticing Mandela Effects is a useful magic bullet which can lead to individuals recovering their innate creative abilities. Some of us are learning how to make changes with a larger sphere of influence. While I agree that this should not be taught outright, I'm not adverse to leaving bread crumbs toward the most useful rabbit hole. One primary objective was not having to start all over again with another civilization recovery. You want evidence, yet only if it's slap in the face irrefutable. That attitude is contrary to personal experience, which is requisite. If this is the wrong board, I'll btfo.

Closest branch implies the observer must be affected. This by no means refutes the premise, however the observer retains the option of being uncreated.

Close. Take responsibility for your personal sphere of influence. Shaping reality has very little to do with good or bad, when you're able to make adjustments. Target practice shooting doesn't kill anyone, it only gets you more proficient with your weapon.

So when learning to read, and upon hearing my mom pronounce it "Ber'n-STEEN" bears I remember asking her why it wasn't "ber'n-STINE" because it was spelled the same as Einstein. To my little first grade brain, spelled the same should have meant sounded the same. Allright.
I'm here to enlighten you.
Mandela Effect is a mix of real and false memories.
Things go unreal at this point.
>past memory or future memory
Like how do you even remember kit-kat?
^It's the oldest wrapper since world war 2 and there's no photo of it, sadly.
Cup O' Noodles, wait are you 90 years old? Or you reincarnated with past life memeries? You probably saw your grandpa's noodle cup.
Yes there are logo changes. Like Cadbury's → Cadbury now which silently changed maybe around 2013 and no official documentation about it! -at the time. there is now, I think.
You probably remember 52 or 53 United States but that's probably foreknowledge fucking with your current knowledge of reality (50 states).
Deja-vus make you think you remember something you haven't experienced. Jamais-vu is kinda the opposite which also gives off the same derealization effect from ME.
>programming and neural autocomplete
You know, that monopoly man with monocle? There's no monocle but you're probably remembering Mr. Peanut or Mr. Mayor from Powerpuff Girls. Though coincidence doesn't prove reality. It probably changed or not changed.
>alternate-alternating reality / reality tampering
I have a solid proof to prove ME is real.
I think the world isn't ready yet so no comment on this.
There are flip-flops happening. It's probably a sign of activity.
>conclusion
This is the multiverse.

Time is matter vibrating. The past, present and future are simply differently arranged vibrations of matter. There are over 9000 matter/particle accelators around the world that collide matter in an attempt to bring anti-matter into this plane of existance that is made up of matter.
Anti-matter and matter cancel each other out, thus rearranging the state of all matter in this plane of existance. Because consciousness is not made out of matter and simply "projected" into the matter filled plane of existance, it will not be affected by the rearrangement of all matter.
Discern this information on your own. The truth is within you.

Besides a few of your photographs, these are primarily third-party sources made by individuals. The majority of what you have done is prove that the Colloquial Spelling or Naming of a Name-Brand Product is different from the official name. Recall the famous misprint quoting General Eisenhower, under some kind of a name like "David Eivenhower". Misprints are common enough, especially though these seemingly localized ads made by small-town grocers. I do not claim to disbelieve the Mandella Effect, however.

I don't even dislike reading about this kind of stuff, but I hate people going on about fucking spelling changes.
Not one of you berenstein faggots ever seem to mention on your own WHY almost everyone still pronounces it as the much more common -stein. It couldn't just be that you thought the spelling was closer to how the it was generally pronounced. Almost every bs spelling mandela effect favors the more common spelling, or what it is favored in pronunciation.
>Hurr but I say sherbert why is it spelled sherbet? It was always spelled pisketti not spaghetti I must be a fucking time traveler.
Whenever there's this sort of obvious likely cause for their confusion, berenstein people just say it must be a "remnant" of the other universe. So things favor their theory both when it has "changed" and when it hasn't changed.
English spelling isn't phonetic and it isn't hard to get confused, how often do Japanese people think a word uses a different character? (assuming the pronounciation still matches the spelling)

Note that I didn't say that it would be towards the more common spelling 100% of the time.
That isn't to say that one where the cause for confusion isn't blatantly obvious means there must be people from alternate dimensions and the other examples are now valid again. I will give you that it's harder to explain that berenstain though.
I can't remember if I'd heard dilemna before, but I can only assume it comes from other silent Ns like damn, mnemonic, pneumonia.
Maybe because dilemma isn't a very common word(less so than problem or something anyhow), people might think it's more complex than it is. Or something in the pronounciation suggests it is too 'soft' to require two Ms, or they just thought it looked wrong, partially from having the name Emma in it and an unusual suffix. I could guess all day, but you're still going to find it's a large jump from people not having perfect spelling (a common occurrence) to multiple colliding dimensions.
I used to think definitely was spelled definately, and I'm sure I could find others who did the same. Is that a mandela effect? Is the white and gold dress an ME because a lot of people had the same confusion? It is not as if human beigns are not wired with some similarity.

when "totally real people" or "TRP's" surface in such numbers… it can only mean we are doing or thinking of something they do not want us to
The only evidence that any of this has, is what currently exists. That which is the conflict that people have with far more people's memories than those who agree with it. I see no reason to disbelieve in the effect and instead cling to some bizarre theory of highly specific mass memory error. There is currently no worthy acceptable explaination for how so many people from so many different places all over the world could possibly remember (exactly) all the same commonly recognizable and well known events, names, locations of continents and other places, and general miscellaneous things all WRONG, in EXACTLY the same ways.
You can not trick us, You can not fool us. You will not make us forget. stop lying to yourself. deny yourself the truth no longer. We are the unforgotten.

>My main question is that some of these things seem frivolous, so why would anyone intentionally change them?
a sound possible speculation is that significant (or insignificant) events are changed and through the butterfly effect, these create an unstoppable chain of reactions which result in a lot of small changes like the title of your favorite cartoon manifesting into reality as altered. some people'es memories are altered, and others are spared.
It's just nice to see other people freak out when they absolutely know without a doubt that things they have always known in their everyday life, things that they undoubtably and unshakably remember clearly and sharply, are now obviously and unmistakably altered and noticabley and tangibley different. I and many others have seen Bragg's apple cider vinegar (brand name) suddenly appear forever changed as "bragg" in their pantry. we can all pick up that bottle that we bought as "Bragg's" and touch it, and feel it, and know that it is different than the bottle we got from the store "way back".
>always buy bragg's apple cider vinegar from wholefoods
>one day go on the internet
>everyone flipping out saying it changed to JUST "bragg"
>run to my pantry and look
>all the bottles say "bragg" now
>hue hue?
>call "bragg" company
>"yea we have had loads of people calling us about this, no no we have always been bragg"
>even watched a video on youtube of the lady who owns "bragg" calling it "bragg's"
if you are one of the people who have noticed the difference I reccomend you call the "bragg" company if you are curious enough and ask them if they remember and how many others have called. I encourage you to be polite and not keep them too long however.

CERN created the internet.
or at least that's what the facts are in this timeline.
in my timeline CERN never created the internet.
in my timeline the internet was created in the earlier days of the military to create a new secret more secure form of communication, and the project was used by the earlier hackers who basically found and then began to use the internet for their own needs, and the military did nothing to stop it, but rather sat back and watched. they always wanted others to use it, because look at what it became today. today the internet is the largest worldwide surveilance system where people unknowingly or knowingly give their information to the entire world. However, it is beginning to appear more as though CERN may have hijacked the timeline for their own purposes and made themselves the original creators of the internet. in theory, how much money or power would one person hold if they were to go back in time and become the original creator of google, and never sell it?- let alone the entire internet?
here are some links, some are more conflicting than others- perhaps due to timeline residue. not everything gets changed or erased, similarly to how so many people remember things differently.

There should be a bunch of security cameras all over that courtyard and the rest of the CERN facility.
If CERN wanted to debunk this video they could just release a short clip of the woman getting back up and walking away.
But something tells me that's not going to happen.
Question that should be asked isn't whether or not this is real, but who those people are?
In case you didn't know, CERN isn't your local burger king where you just walk in and certainly not a place to walk around in long black robes, and perform a human "sacrifice" in.
The only people that could have pulled this stunt are the employes themselves, question being why?

this is what it is like for people who didn't experience it. it seems stupid because to them nothing ever changed. of course it would appear to them that the mandela effect didn't happen because it did not happen to THEM. remember that there's the group of people who didn't experience the mandela effect and stubbornly grasp their own confusion with hatred for those who did experience it, and the group of people who believe and know about it, but lie against it. that's right. the shills believe in it and know all about it but they want knowledge of it all shut down. doesn't matter much does it? most of the mandela effects ended and in a few years we will all die of old age and nobody will remember what we remember. so why fight against the truth so hard?

1. Wagen is German for "car", not Wagon. Volkswagen is pronounced as "Folksvagen" in Germany with a definite 'e' sound.
2. There are a few Volkswagens that have (usually aftermarket badges) a split between the V and W- '''WOAH WHAT THE FUCK I JUST LOOKED IT UP AND NOW IT'S APPARENTLY THE OPPOSITE CASE, LEGITIMATELY CREEPED OUT NOW CONSIDERING I

I DISTINCTLY remember a "loom" (didn't know what a Cornucopia was until I looked it up years later) being present on my school uniform for years on end. To my knowledge it is the only ME with INDISPUTABLE CONCRETE EVIDENCE OF ITS EXISTENCE:

I don't think they were being literal. It was just a joke probably I'm guessing. anyway IQ is pretty stupid considering that imperfect human beings created an imperfect system to measure "intelligence" which is an idea of how "smart/aware" someone is according to their ability to do certain things. which things? well it's a matter of opinion.
>imperfect human beings
>make imperfect test
>to test intelligence (which is an imperfect human definition)

I don't remember much about the hand but when we learned about it art history class it was pointing out how both arms are resting on the left knee, and that over all the statue is dynamic because of that twist of the torso by having the right elbow on the left knee. In art talk this is why the statue looks good. So I really took note of that.
Now as you can see from some of those sample images in OP the student drawing and the model both have their elbow on the wrong knees. The model is straight up using the wrong arm. In short those people memory sucks and or they just weren't paying enough attention to these details. Same thing is happening about this fist. No one paid attention to these details. So you all think it has changed and you are not wrong.

Well you're right about IQ elitist snobs who think IQ just "makes you right" or that dumber people can't be more useful or come up with superior solutions under certain circumstances, but your arguments retarded. Let's apply this exact logic to the length or height of something.
>Measuring tapes are imperfect tools of height measurement
>Humans are imperfect in using these imperfect tools of height measurement
>Therefore it's impossible to tell if one person is taller than another, in fact, height doesn't exist
And don't give me some bullshit quibbling about "Durr height has an objective definition" because
1) An imperfect definition doesn't mean that the concept is invalid or that a perfect one couldn't theoretically be articulated, or that the tools we have to measure the imperfect one aren't also measuring said perfect definition
2) Any definition can be called into question with shit thought experiments . E.g. for height, if a 6 foot tall man has a crick in his back and can't straighten up beyond 5"9", how tall is he, 6' or 5'9"? What if he recovers, did he grow three inches? What if it's permanent? Can't think of a perfect answer that I can't think of more compounding scenarios for? Looks like I win :^)

You can measure heigh with just one dimension but a tailor have to take a lot of measurements to make fitted clothes.
Computer benchmarks gives composite scores which always differ and show results that may look incoherent and you cannot rely on an unique score.
Intelligence tests have to cope with far higher complexity and an unique score have to be arbitrary. Even composite scores are limited in the same way

my theory is, if there is one different timeline, theres infinite timelines where different shit branches out, wouldnt surprise me if somehow multiple people from multiple timelines some how crossed and got mixed and matched into various timelines creating these memory fuck ups, another thing to note is this shit didn't really pop-up until after cern started their fuckery with that hadron collider as far as i remember, first time i heard of the hadron collider was in 2008 when it popped up big on the news about how we were all going to die because black hole.

my theory is this: if you go back in time and change a small thing it will have big consequenses later on. and what if cern managed to get some particle to go faster than light and thus go back in time. how much change could that possibly make? maybe a lot. like the butterfly flapping its wings causing a storm somewhere else. you know the story. so maybe some particles went back in time and made something change on a molecular level which led to bigger changes later on, which would be now.

When the singer got to the part that goes "And after three days in the desert fun / I was looking at a river bed / And the story it told of a river that flowed / Made me sad to think it was dead" he instead sand "Made me mad to think it was dead". >10 or so at dentist's swimming in pool with siblings because neighbor happened to be watching us that week

>don't go near the pool anon sit in this chair and wait for us to get back
>immediately get up and proceed to run around pool like a retard

>next thing I remember i'm up out of the water totally fine sibling had noticed I wasn't there and came out to grab me
Some problems with this first story; Sibling was only 2 years older than me and also couldn't swim. no way in hell sib was able to reach that far in to the pool let alone pull me up and out with one hand. I do not explicitly remember being pulled out of the pool I only remember basically giving up. A few years later I start to bring that time up
>Anon dr. dentist never had a pool and we were never at his house wtf is wrong with you? Another time I had a bike accident and was about to go face first into a concrete poll with no helmet on. time literally fucking rewound itself and I was able to make another decision. I know you will all think i'm batshit fucking crazy but read it again. Time. Literally. Rewound. Itself. life in a fucking movie or that enter the matrix vidya it was absolute fucking insanity. And shortly after that time; the mandella effect really started gaining ground on the internet.
I have no idea if it means anything but just some food for thought. I think one way or another we were brought to this universe through the nature of the many worlds theory combined with the quantum suicide theory already discussed in this thread. However I am unable to reconcile a gigantic earth ending event taking place when so many people remember all of these things as they were not as we remember them to be. and yes then there is the infallible aspect of memory and our brains but I do believe at this point in time we (meaning the ones directly experiencing quantum reality shifts upon "Death" rather than actual Death. The questions remain; why are we only now becoming aware of this? what has changed that is leading us to understand the malleable nature of the universes in which we all simultaneously inhabit hmm?
Interesting none the less and I find the quantum nature of our realities existence to be incredibly fascinating and something they don't want us to fully understand because it gives us power. Imagine being able to move between realities almost at will!? It'd be like choose your own fucking adventure but real life think about that shit.

I fucking believe you. I've read very similar stories on plebbit about someone finding themselves in a situation where they would definitely end up dead, no question about it, and just as they're about to die, everything stops and rewinds to a certain point. From someone being mugged and fatally shot, to someone's judgment lapsing behind the wheel and going freeway speeds into roadworks, to some idiot shooting a crossbow at a basketball and having said crossbow bolt bounce off and wreck their skull on the rebound. The latter case I remember vividly, the OP could see his own body on the ground with the bolt firmly embedded in his freely-bleeding head cavity. Then everything stopped, rewound, and the only sign that anything changed was the basketball remaining in the position it ended up after the bolt had hit it.
The weirdest part is your pool story happened almost exactly the same way to me when I was 5, the pool felt around 10 feet deep (though returning to the scene 15 years later it's only 6' at its deepest and the part I deliberately went into was around 5') and I slowly glided to the bottom, a dead butterfly floated in slow motion past my face as I headed towards the bottom on my stomach, looking up I saw my father's hand reach in and yank me out. To this day I wonder if I really died that day, and that was simply my first reality hop. Because he had left for a piss, neither of my sisters seemed to care, and his hand would have to have traversed at least 4' of that water.

Everyone is at a consensus that the mandella effect is evidence of a universal rift, but allow me to give another explanation.
Perhaps it is the work of a wireless device that can create mass hallucination. Seeing these pictures gave me this idea. Why would the statues change in a different universe but not the people. Are we imminent to the drift? Unlikely. I think everyone in this pic saw the thinker with a fist (oraybe were under the effects of mass hallucination right now and we just can't see it).

I agree with this anon, memory is constructed from fragments of actual memory (words) Berenstain isn't a formal last name we're used to but stein certainly is. Sinbad is in the the 1001 nights which certainly contains the words shazam. And as for Rodin's thinker I remember it being the correct way with some certainty, it's a simple mistake to make artistically though.

I think I've had something like this happen to me too.
>know a kid in school, he was the same age and grade as me.
>we frequently met on the bus, talked occasionally, on day he even brought an old-ass-giant coin which was apparently worth a lot but was nominally worth 5 cents on the coin itself.
>hear him get addressed as a name that was different than the one I'm used to. Turns out that the name I know, was actually his middle name, not his first.
>his mom was a karate instructor, both of them looked so alike, no mistaking they were mother and son.
>kid doesn't come on the bus one day, last I heard he went to another school or something, eventually forget about him.
>Karate mom dies from cancer years later. a damn shame.
>a few years after college, I eventually become friends with one of my brother's coworkers, he has the same last name as the kid I knew.
>Turns out, the dead karate lady was also his mom- but he's not the kid I knew.
>friend is frequently addressed by his middle name but formally goes by his first.
>Both names are completely different from the kid I knew, and friend is several years older than I am.
>ask him and my brother if he had a younger brother
<"No anon, he never had any siblings"
>what the fuck?
I find mandela effect circlejerks annoying because it's all about typos, bureaucratic SNAFUS, optical illusions, fan-gushing misquotes, and news stations being stupid… Yet this has happened- somehow, someone I have distinct memories, a middle and last name of, just literally fucking disappeared from my life.
I knew this kid had the same last name as the friend I know… I mean, the most logical scenario is "custody battle gone wrong," or "something happened with the dad," but it's so fucking weird, that kid was a spitting image of his mom… the logical explanation doesn't add up because I feel like my friend should've known about this other kid. it's so weird.
Really. thank you for sharing your experiences, it's a real nugget of gold in a shit ocean.

That's an outright lie, though. You're making it sound like millions of people woke up one day and realized something was wrong, when actually, this started as a simple rumor online and it ended up getting popular. It might be just a very few people who actually remember the different name, and the rest just went along with it for fun or had their memory "corrupted" by the rumor.

G-guys…
I was reading random shit about quantum theory and something struck me.
What if Mandela effect could be explained by Asher Peres paradox (future influencing the past through the quantum entanglement)?
What I want to say is, what if as collective consciousness changed its knowledge about certain things, those things themselves changed in the past to cater to the new present? Or is it that only the past part of the timeline changed to be compatible with the present timeline we are currently in (and possibly with the future)?
What if something bad happened if the Mandela effect didn't existed, so it appeared in order to save the timeline? What if it exists only to let us know that someone out there is fucking with reality?
You know, could Mandela effect basically be a trace (byproduct) of extremely powerful timeline-shaping fuckery?

I'm on the fence about the Mandela Effect. I think an awful lot of the supposed 'changes' can be explained by human memory being fallible and our tendency to confabulate details that are missing from memory, but not all of them.
As a Britbong, I'd never even heard of the Berenstein (or whatever) Bears before encountering the ME, and I'm too young to remember Mandela's death-or-otherwise, but there are a few that genuinely give me pause for thought:
>Kit-Kats are actually Kit Kats. I distinctly remember the hyphen, including its style, and the specific incident in my life that caused me to remember it.
If the above is a confabulation, I can't trust ANY of my memories.
>The Lindbergh Baby's body was found. I clearly remember reading the story; the body was never found and the killer was convicted on the basis of a rag found in his possession that the mother swore came from the boy's clothes. The reason I looked into it in the first place was Abe Simpson's "I'm the Lindbergh Baby!" line, which is difficult to explain if the boy's body was found.
>The Fruit of the Loom logo does not feature a cornucopia. As a child, a Canadian relative brought me over a Fruit of the Loom T-Shirt when she visited. It was far too big, so I had it for years. At the time, I saw the brand as something foreign and 'exotic' (you didn't see it much in my area at the time), so I remember looking at the logo, which was a load of fruit spilling from a horn. The cover of the album Flute of the Loom seems to agree with this.
Although I find these less compelling (they're all easy mistakes to make), I also remember the line from Jaws as "You're going to need a bigger boat.", and Forrest Gump as "Life is like a box of chocolates."
I'm undecided, and I don't rule out the possibility that this whole thing might be an incredibly elaborate psy-op.

I have a better explanation about said wireless device.
You know how every goddamn radio device emits a certain set of frequencies that we can't percieve? Perhaps, we CAN percieve it, and it affects our minds in different ways that we can't notice at first. Wi-Fi, UHF, VHF, etc may actually be more dangereous to our psyque than we may be told, and some brains perhaps are able to recieve radio signals that are constantly being sent and interpret them into imagery, sounds or even thoughts.
I'm on the belief that 70% of the people that do have said brains, end up with severe mental issues. Notice the rise of feminism, homosexuality, degenerancy, trannies, etc. It could also be attributed to Television Propaganda and Xenostrogens, but people wouldn't willingly mutilate themselves as much as citydwellers do. I mean, red states and other rural areas do not have as much of a concentration of those kinds among all the normalfags and they end up eating and watching the same kind of shit. But you go to any big city and it's a completely different story.
About 3-1% of people with these kind of brains also percieve another kind of radiowave, certain new satellite signals can supposedly travel through the entire world instantly, correct? What if some brains recieve those signals like a massdriver being driven through their heads? Wouldn't that explain sudden spasms, psychotic outbursts or other insane things?
What if radio signals could be weaponized if they actually affect brains?
I know i sometimes hear the local radio station in my head even when there's no device turned on in the household. I know it because i was actually humming a song subconciously a few weeks ago and then turned on the radio, the song was the exact same than the one in my head, and i had never heard it before.

Advice for Anons experiencing Mandela Effects:
Keep a journal of how the Mandela Effect organically manifests in your life. For example, if you hear a random or out-of-place reference to the Berenstain Bears in your real life, then write it down in your journal. Make sure you write down the date it happened. Start looking for patterns between these incidents, dates, and other events in your life. You'll make some interesting discoveries.

I think I stumbled on to a mechanic that may be usable if elaborated and applied to construct a Mandela detector. The Mandela effect seems to very individual as well. Here is a personal one:
There was a book by Bart Kosko I was going to get called anti-fragility. It is now by a different author. I know it was Bart Kosko originally, not because I specifically remembered the author, but because of the process I used to add the book to my list to look at. I was looking into Kosko's work because of his connection to social engineering mathematical models of events in the Middle East. There is no way I would have added that book with that process.
It seems direct links (including memories) may be subject to alteration, but indirect links from 'inductive' processes may retain the implications from the prior state. I'm not sure if the inductive process has to be subjective to protect it from alteration.

No.49553
Also, the state change effect may be momentary. What I mean is that when something changes, everything connected to it by direct causal chain is altered to reflect the new state. It doesn't keep changing new contradictory evidence as it arises if it was missed.
What that may mean is that if something were inside the equivalent of a quantum Faraday cage, I theorize that it would retain its original state. Opening the quantum Faraday cage may cause quantum decoherence and change it to the same as the embedding state.
I think such a QFC scenario may be as common as buried time capsules or corner stones in buildings, etc.
Disclaimer: this post and the subject matter and contents thereof - text, media, or otherwise - do not necessarily reflect the views of the 8kun administration.
No.49554
Note: if the QFC/Schroedinger's box contains an observer, there should be an ambiguity whether the outside observer enters the box state or vice-versa.
That implies that if you open a QFC inside a containing QFC with an observer, the observer may have an opportunity to indirectly observe 'via a subjective inductive process' the state of a time capsule for instance, and make a note of it. The physical note would have to be something that only has meaning to someone who knows the specific inductive process applied during the observation.
In effect, the encryption would be serving as its own quantum container, shielding the original state from decoherence into the embedding 'reality'/(coherent state system)

No.49555
Another note: I think Mandela effects have always existed. They may or may not be increasing in frequency now due to unknown reasons (cern/ white hole, etc.) I believe why they are becoming obvious now is that we finally have a working detector for them. The internet. It is allowing accurate comparisons of immense amounts of information. The Mandela effect seems to represent only a tiny, tiny fraction of information/reality - way too small to be observable before.
Disclaimer: this post and the subject matter and contents thereof - text, media, or otherwise - do not necessarily reflect the views of the 8kun administration.
No.49556
Alternately, Mandela effects may be extremely common. Ever wonder why 'truth' keeps changing? I have an active theory that postulates that our reality is entwining with a cluster of neighboring multiverses, effectively locked in a mutual 'reality well'. In the course of normal everyday existence, each person is climbing around on a ladder with rungs in different realities. There is no 'one' truth. We get the illusion of that sometimes because often there are areas where the multiverses are changing very slowly relative to our scale and they end up being very dependable for a while.
This interpretation framing may seem banal, but it can be quite generative if you are trying to figure out the mechanics of moving between reality contexts.

>I always thought Mona Lisa was an overrated painting anyway
It is, both in and out of context. It was never famous until it was stolen and then later found. If you go to the Louvre, you can barely see the fucking thing because it's 1) Only like a foot across, 2) Inside a giant plastic box for security, 3) Behind velvet ropes presumably so nobody can touch and smudge the plastic, 4) There's a ten-person-deep crowd around it.
The museum is absolutely loaded with gorgeous impressionist art that's the size of ENTIRE WALLS, as well as both ancient and modern sculpture. Do yourself a favor, and skip the Mona Lisa; it's not worth the hype.

I distinctly remember "Luke, I am your father". I used to shitpost with that meme frequently back in like 2007 so it would be impossible to mix that up.

The difference is that the "Luke, I am your father" meme was started by people who fucked up the line after watching it in theaters once in the 1970's. The DKR memes were started by people who pirated the movie and could rewind/replay the phrases twenty times in a row to make sure they got the quote correct, and half the time the memes aren't text quotes but just a clip of the actual scene in question.

Funny how Mandela Effects are ALWAYS cultural or pop cultural. You never hear a family all say "I could swear that Aunt Beatrice had red hair!"
If it was real, why is it confined solely to cultural data that's consumed by millions? Wouldn't a ton of tiny things be changing constantly? The color of your house key would one day then from bronze to silver. Your favorite pair of socks is green now.
And why are so many of these things minor changes? The Thinkers hand placement. Stain/Stein. Sex And/In The City. It's never "Holy shit I remember John McCain being president!"
It's also maddening because believers will always just say some shit about dimensional shifts. There is no reasoning with them. I have a cousin with paranoid schizophrenia and she is 10000% sure Mandela Effect is real. There is no arguing with her. She has a disorder so she gets a free pass. Rational people don't.

To be fair, if someone in SA thought Mandella died in prison, that's easily on par with "McCain was president". And if someone did say there was one of these "big" changes like with their family, you'd probably write them off as loonies anyway.
I don't think it's real either, but I hate "skeptics" raising objections in bad faith, because even if someone did have the level of experience you claim to want (and you could almost certainly find it somewhere if you took a little effort) you'd flip to the opposite objection of "well if you're having such severe mental discontinuities you're obviously imbalanced and unreliable".

I'm with you. On 9-11-2001 I was home watching TV before going to work. My shift started at 4pm. All day nothing was said about the twin towers in NY. Nothing was on the local news at noon. I had over the air TV and all the networks would have picked it up. CBS was my favorite station. In 2005, a well dressed respectable looking man was standing inline in front of me at a local corner store. As he was leaving the counter, he made eye contact. He asked," Do you remember where you were on 9-11?" I looked at him like WTF kind of Q is that? In the minute it took me to pay cash for my $5 in gas, the guy disappeared. I live in a very small town so he couldn't have gotten far. No cars had left the parking lot or gas pumps. Later that afternoon, I started seeing things all over the place about up coming memorials for 9-11. I got on the internet and it was loaded with 9-11 news, conspiracies, and other jabber. For me, 9-11 never happened. Before 2005, and seeing the strange man, I have no memories of anything related to any major national events. I was a big news geek back in the early '00s. I was in my early 20's. I've never been a drinker and I have never used drugs. Every time I make a post about this somewhere online, the post disappears rather quickly. I expect the same to happen here as usual. Somebody somewhere knows something and I think the man was trying to clue me in.

>i never understood the mandela effect. is it that i didnt give a shit that a white genociding nigger died or that i also didnt give a shit that a white genociding nigger died later too?
you really want to know what it is? It's rational and logical people thinking of a singular illogical explanation to explain all of the growing illogical shit that is happening.
basically clown world, the only way all of this could be the way it is, is if we're all dead and reality is no longer real.
the way you're talking you're obviously a youngfag and don't remember a lot of this stuff and the way things used to be before they went totally apeshit…that's ok anon, you're still rational enough to see the absurdity in the world, i agree with you on the thought that this sort of thing is a distraction from our genocide but at the same time it could be a partial explanation for it….or it could not be true in the slightest and it's all just your run of the mill vampires, niggers and cucks that have made things like this, who the fuck actually knows at this point as the world makes little sense anymore.
as for the individual instances of spellings, movies missing from history and the 100 or so other things i've seen catalogued, none of it means anything to you because you haven't lived long enough to have any point of reference on such things, if this sort of global forgetfulness was common why hasn't it been catalogued and put into words before, you would think this sort of things would have been happening all throughout history where a large section of the public remembers things happening that never did and remembers things being totally different? i mean we're talking about a mass delusion of sorts here that doesn't operate or present like a delusion and certainly hasn't propagated in the same way.
that said, things like movies and the rest are just the small things, the deeper more involved shit that overlaps with this is stuff like the double slit experiment and how the universe is rendered much like a video game, only drawing lines when viewed, being able to inject dna with computer code essentially proving that biological life might just be nothing more than data, the fact our planet happens to be in the Goldilocks zone, the fact the universe has rules in the first place, quarks with "error correcting" "codes" built in, the fact that space and time cease to have meaning on the planck scale, the fact that we as individuals each see the world/render the world in our own way..does the color green look the same to everyone? when you consider how our universe and reality is structured it's not that big of a leap to suggest that we are in a simulation and the Mandela effect is just an error in that simulation.
beyond that, knock it off with the reddit spacing for effect, you're here now, you're better than reddit, put things of the past in the past and embrace the ways of the boards.

Then someone else responds to him, "like in books and on TV?" and he continues with "No, walking around like you me…" and so on like in the 6th Sense. I thought it was Dave Chappelle so I then checked Saturday Night Live, MadTV, Emmy Awards, Comedy Central, and nothing came up.

look for movie trailers, it may have been another spoof movie indiscernable from scary movie 2 or a scene which only occurred in a trailer that didn't see theatrical release. (or deviation between theatrical and home releases)
Worst case scenario its 1984-esque misinformation to see how the populace responds to conflicting information in regards to their memories, to see how many or which members will doubt themselves and choose to accept the new information as fact, rejecting their own memories.

I already did that actually. I thought maybe they had planned out that scene but decided to change it later. I looked a little more into other comedians afterwards. Some comments on youtube are "you're thinking of Undercover Brother" which does say that quote but the situation is completely different. The fact that I remember the whole 6th Sense parody means it couldn't be from Undercover Brother anyways. The cartoon version of Disney's Aladdin had a different ending in the movie theater version.

Unrelated to the Mandela Effect, something movie related that irritates me is this one scene that was removed from Star Wars Episode 1 where Qui Gon destroys one of Darth Maul's drones. Before watching the deleted scenes, I always thought to myself, "why the fuck are they running to the ship?" I don't know what they were thinking when they deleted that scene.

I personally only remember the quote but not which movie, I don't think it would be a later film but I also wouldn't doubt an out of touch or out of its time joke either. Might straight up need a better archive of film, assuming spoof trash gets much place in anyones archive.

He never said "white people". It was always "dead people" in the movie. He was doing a direct reference and using the smoke he inhaled as the joke because the character is a stereotypical stoner and basically an NPC. The only way so many people remember the "white people" line is if they used some alternate takes of the scene in the film version as opposed to the home release, or a trailer. It happens, back in the 90s tons of films would be twerked between theatrical and home versions.

>if this sort of global forgetfulness was common why hasn't it been catalogued and put into words before, you would think this sort of things would have been happening all throughout history
Maybe it hasn't been happening all throughout history. Maybe it is a new phenomenon we are experiencing for the first time. Maybe it is only now we can observe it because of the ability to spread news and media so wide and quickly. You can't just dismiss the stuff so quickly. Odd thing is the Nelson Mandela aspect of the whole thing I don't get. I don't remember him dying in prison. He got out in 1990, it was a big deal on the news at the time.

Anyone remember Cadbury's?
Chances are you've eaten this sweet treat at some point.
Well it is fucking Cadbury now - without the 's.
I clearly remember with " 's " but maybe you can lump me into those wrong people and disprove mandela effect forever.
So do you remember or you're getting out of touch? I remember around 2014 or so eating a chocolate and telling myself "why the fuck is this letter S thinner than the entire characters in the logo?".
Well turns out I was just "getting out of touch" if you claim ME is fake and we're just miss-remembering.
Well turns out it was a massive logo change and I'm not fucking miss-remembering shit.
No one remembers Cup O' Noodles? There's still evidence out there. Cadbury's had this separated cursive s that's unusually thin and here's the pic along with the old as fuck version.
Also the latest Flip Flop is the word "Tumeric".
It used to be an official term for the famous spice while Turmeric being the 'alternative' according to wikipedia, google, and other sources which I confirmed years ago but turns out tables have turned for reality and now it's fucking not anymore and is considered a misspell that even my spell checker checks out that it's wrong. So yeah, welcome back to Turmeric universe for me!.

Do you remember a hurricane hitting New York on that date instead? It was due to be one of the worst storms in US history and would arguably have been worse than Sandy. The next few weeks, possibly months throughout late 2001 and early 2002 would have talked about storm relief efforts. If you do, you could be empirical proof that the whole event was staged and the tropical storm was a HAARP backup plan to cause mass disruption and devastation in New York on that day. All to flush some incriminating records down the drain.
To this day, there hasn't been a reasonable explanation as to why a storm that was almost certainly headed for the state would suddenly pull a u-turn and dissipate in the ocean. Obviously with a fake plane crash you can't have too much chaos going on, else you'll lose the message you're trying to forcefully imprint upon the population. The climate change psy-op took a 5-year backseat in favor of counter-terrorism and WMDs.

It's not the weirdest path a hurricane has taken. I can't say if HAARP was bending the weather but the hurricane path does match the cold fronts and air pressures. More interesting though is I read some weather blogs saying things like "this hurricane could have affected the weather over NYC and prevented the planes from being able to fly towards the city" so that is something to think about. What you need to find is some way of telling when HAARP has been fired up.

This one is fucked up I agree. I was in a /pol/ thread discussing if the driver was the shooter so I watched the vid over and over for about an hour. There were 4 people in the car. How do you even come up with the theory if there's a second row of seats?
