Tulpas have access to the same information you do, so they'll go insane if you abuse them, but intimacy isn't really a problem for most of the time. It even helps capture your attention if they exploit your attraction for them. They will develop very quickly always being on your mind and trying to sense them. Very helpful for those without much control.

Not a waifufag but I believe that the mentality you mentioned is shit. To my understanding, it's a misguided conformity thing. Fullchan was founded on politics and cyber-activism, retaining the conventional imageboard format as a familiar medium so those who defend their sacred cow moeshitposting while criticizing non-anime OC should ease of the gluten.

Going over the waifufagging, the tulpa-to-be has intentional flaws as to avoid echo chambering. I'll let you guys know if anything significant comes about.

Apparently not ugly enough. You have to understand that everything is relative and someone of my peculiar circumstances may have value elsewhere, but not in my current or projected social ecosystems.

Anyhow, I'm a few days in the tulpa thing and things are going rather slow, which is fine. Better to have a well rounded and fleshed out tulpa than be autistic and create a "perfect 2d waifu" that would fuck with my head. That said, it would benefit me if I could get the ball rolling within a few months.
