Hello! I was wondering if you guys know anymore about the history of Lemuria (a.k.a Mu) and its relationship with Atlantis.

Supposedly the inhabitants of Mu were highly spiritual and very advanced as a society that is until a catastrophic event caused them to flee to neighboring present-day continent. Some say Atlantis and Mu destroyed each other in war while others say Atlantis came after Mu's demise.

 No.28053

I was under the impression that Mu and Lemuria were two different continents, not the same one.

Mu is to Asians what Atlantis is to Europeans. A long lost Utopian land composed of people of their phenotype proving their superiority.

Wasn't there a study challenging Darwin's theory of evolution regarding how lemurs were both present in Asia and South America and that there must have been some sort of land large enough between the two continents?

Also if Atlantis and Mu/Lemuria were separate civilizations but lived around the same time, could there have some massive conflict, like cataclysmic war, that could have destroyed both sides or natural disasters? Sorry if it sounds crazy.

Yes, the lemur fact is thrown around trying to disprove Darwin. I'm not too sure if new studies have come out challenging the claim, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were.

Regarding your second question, there's certainly a possibility that those two alleged civilizations may have had contact and conflict. Some construe the ancient Indian Veda texts and Sanskrit epics regarding vimanas (flying machines with weapons equivalent to nukes) as a historical account of an ancient cataclysmic war between Atlantis and Mu. And the two simply nuked eachother into the ocean depths. Again, this is all speculation, but fascinating nonetheless.

I believe mankind wasn't always the primitive barbarian peoples they portray us to be. I believe there's chapters missing in the book of man's history. Sadly I think most of it is forever lost to history with no chance of recovery.

the land mass of mu is in the direct center of the ring of fire

I'd believe we have missing chapters. There's those oddities like crosses and symbols of similar make appearing in countries around the same time even though they weren't supposed to have made contact by that point. I'm not sure if it's hidden knowledge or just unknown though.

I agree with you. We simply do not know millions of years of our history, and we do not know what happened then. Perhaps that knowledge is known by very few people in high places.

The thing that scares me though is how powerful and advanced did Mu/Lemuria and Atlantis had to be to be able to obliterate each others' lands out of existence. As another anon said that Mu/Lemuria is at the center of the ring of fire, it may have been a result of warfare between the two civilizations. Unfortunately this is all speculation and the truth may never be known.

If you trust our dating methods, there are human bones going back to tens of millions of years ago. Michael Cremo talks about them in his book Forbidden Archaeology. But even if we assume that modern man is "only" 250k years old, that's still a lot of time that we have no records for.

Given how quickly we have gone from killing each other with swords to dropping nukes, we can't rule out the possibility that we have gone through this cycle of technological development many more times in our so-called prehistory.

The only people who know for sure what really happened are the ones who lived during those times. I'm talking about the ancient "gods". They were said to be immortal or at least very long-lived, so some of them must still be alive today. Good luck trying to contact them though.

The ancient chronicles talk about wars fought in the skies between western and eastern gods. A Roman historian recorded one of their battles in Italy. And there's a myth that tells of Dionysus trying to conquer India. Whatever happened, it didn't happen too long ago.

Surely we would eventually use up the easy to access surface resources though. How would tbe cycle account for that?

I guess it depends on what technologies the ancients relied on. The Earth produces oil in abundance, and continuously. There are also ways to produce oil synthetically.

But they might not have used oil at all. Maybe they found a way to generate energy using the natural electromagnetic currents of the planet. Maybe they had discovered 0-point energy. They might not have had an industrial revolution, their society and economic system was probably different from ours.

They might have dealt with the problem of overpopulation before it got out of hand. There are too many things we can only speculate about.

Jumping around on wikipedia led me to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zealandia_(continent) which seems like a more believable Mu, just much older.

Then considering the ice age, flood, and Pangea. All sorts of assumptions can be made.
