Verses from the Bible Regarding the Worm
What is interesting is that there are a lot more versus in the Catholic Bible than the Protestant Bible. Clearly due to the Protestant Bible having books removed. Now many say the Reformation began in 1517, but many suggest the first overt schism between the Catholic and Protestant Churches happened in 1521 atThe Diet of Worms. Not even joking a little , Luther was called in front of an imperial diet (a formal deliberative assembly) of the Holy Roman Empire by Emperor Charles V, in the town of Worms, to reaffirm his response to the Pope, which he did. Then Charles V decreed Luther a heretic in hisEdict of Worms. So I will point out what was left in the King James Bible regarding the verses with worms, and what was left out. Not trying to stoke the flames here, but this whole thing is strange knowing what we know now.
