When eka's went down didn’t they say they were going to bring back everything that was taken down, because I've noticed a lot of old work is still missing like there were many stories i read before and now i can't find them.

One thing i never got was why they got rid of the vore tag it made it easier to search for all types of vore, it doesn't effect it too much but i just wanted to know why they got rid of it.

The "vore" tag has been gone for a long time, it was only sporadically added to posts and it's pretty redundant on a site that is focused on vore.
Though I can see why you might want it, Eka's doesn't have a way of telling search to NOT include something like an image booru (ie -non-vore).

If i remember correctly, i might be wrong. But i think artists had to submit a request for their art back, so inactive artists/story makers might not have their stuff back yet because they aren't around to ask for eka to bring it back.

It got set to 'self-view' only, but you're correct that it's up to the artist to re-enable viewing, and lots of people are too lazy or just gone.

If only the artist can see then there is the chance that they don't even know about it, also you have those who probably left after the site went down when so much time passes you may forget about it or just believe that it nit coming back. Something similar happened to me as i didn't realise that 8kun was up for about a mouth or two.

Those affected got a system message at the very bottom of the message page, underneath the blogs. It's hard to miss.
I think some people didn't want to take chances and just kept the stuff off the site as a precaution.
But those artists who left… Those pics are gone for good.
