1. Non-ASCII characters do not work in the input field, instead showing up as question marks. Here's the pasta that I've used to test this:

Five more things for me to bitch about in another post because I don't know how to parse my posts:

3. Spamming the jump button during dialogue plays all the previous sound clips without interrupting the previous sounds clips, making a sort of noise.

4. Walking towards a door then walking away as it opens leaves the door open without Vivian having walked through it.

5. The hitboxes on one of the catladybots' attacks aren't drawn over.

6. Leaving then coming back to the credits lets the music play all the way through without ending the credits.

7. I'm fairly certain I also happened to jump onto and walk on a Goblin's right head spike for a split second before getting hurt.

Sorry for not having any of my gameplay on video.

Since I'm here, I may as well add that I liked the 3-D effect of Airman 2.0 falling over.

All the aforementioned tests work fine on my computer, including metroidtest.swf. I also prefer the Hopper/Victory Road double jump.

Thanks! Glad it's working. (And sorry for posting the first one strangely - I'll probably post in the AGDG thread on /v/ as well).

1) Not really, I'm afraid. Usually I'll make it more visible than I did this time - I only posted in the MN9 thread because someone specifically asked if there'd been any progress made on the Vivian game. Normally I only post when I actually have a substantial new level or something.

2) Unfortunately, that's PROBABLY impossible - the way the copypasta beam is coded requires single-stroke characters (as it reads input from the copypasta string one byte at a time), and also limited by the font.

I'll experiment and see if I can find a way to make it possible - although I think using emoji seems out of character for Vivian. (But come to think of it, they'd fit right in in Gilda's arsenal…)
