I am curious how Vietnamese military is like.

Is it professional or conscription based or mixed?

Are soldiers well paid and well dressed?

Is hardware modern or old?

Is high command down to earth or corrupt?

well, you ask the wrong guy here

i joined the Militia force 2 years ago, and from what i have see, i can say that the army is in a really bad shape (ground force)

most of our platoon is equipped with out-dated item and weapon. We only have SKS rifle, no communication equipment,….. We only know how to shoot, how to clean and maintenance our weapon, how to hide, how to crow, how to throw a grenade, how to use and shoot a RPG,…. The army pay me 120.000đ/day, from 7AM-11AM, and from 2PM-4.30PM. I dont remember clealy but about 3-4 month, we would go to the training ground and shoot with real ammo.

our unit is in a really bad shape, low moral, low skill,….heck, they will probably shatter in 2-3 hours in battle.

depend, most of them are corrupt to some degree

there armour force will penetrate our line of defend in the north, and after abput 24-48 hours, there tank will be rolling in the Red River Delta. Nothing cant stop them

our only hope is that the chinese are not really that fighting capable, and the conflict can be result fast thought diplomat negotiation or other countries intervene.

Like the other anon said, our ground force is outdated. Tho we still have capable AA weapons, air force and navy but i dont think they can be comparable with the chinese's.

vùng trời hà nội cũng chả phải cái phố không người đâu, tuy nhiên sức mạnh áp đảo của không quân giải phóng TQ là một thứ ta nên nghĩ đến.

chỉ cần nói đến số lg thôi thì không quân giải phóng vn cũng bị áp đảo rồi, chưa kể chất lg nữa.

kiểu đéo gì cũng thua thôi, vấn đề là mình có chịu chơi đến đâu thôi
